The room was very good and very clean with a good menu for an evening meal and well priced plain and simply the staff looked after you. this was our stop over for the next mornings final destination so around 4 to 5 hours from the port of Dunkerke ( however road works made the journey more like 8 hours) however would stay here again and would recommend to others thank you for looking after us.

We had very nice rooms at the backside of the building, completely quit with an outdoor area, motorcycles could be stored "downstairs" with easy access to our rooms for the luggage. Although it was quit busy (all table outside occupied) service was quick and correct and we had wonderful meals (and a nice drink of course). Also the breakfast (available horrible early :) ) was absolutely marvelous. Would consider this hotel for a stop during a next trip in this direction without a thought.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was obviously new and was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was good and well presented but the addition of some chicken on the menu would have been welcome. Breakfast was buffet style with an excellent selection of food and drinks. There was no coffee or tea service in the room but when I asked for hot water a kettle was immediately provided. The hotel is located on a main, but fairly quiet, road but there is off street parking beside the property. A fifteen minute drive took me to the Baumwipfelpfad (treetop walk) and this was well worth the detour!

I arrived earlier than expected and had to telephone to get someone to come and open the door for me to check in - the lady arrived a few minutes later in her car. I settled in to my room and then went to look for someone for help with the wifi but couldn't find anyone. I waited until dinner time and then got the information I needed. The very friendly lady who helped me spoke very limited English so communication was difficult. The menu in the restaurant is only in German so for someone with practically no knowledge of the language (me) this was not easy.

Apartment was huge and clean. Location was excellent. Food was lovely and the beer was plentiful and local. Breakfast good too and the staff get refilling the food dishes/baskets. Would recommend.

Only minor but the shower door didn't close properly so you had to be careful that the water didn't leak onto the floor.

early sleep disturbed by guests phoning from smoking station outside external door of our room - easily sorted by polite request, but intrusive until then.

Very friendly and helpful people. Possibility to diner (good) for a fair price. Extensive breakfast. Very fair and good price/quality balance!

Warm room. Difficult to cool down without opening windows (and the risk of insects)

A clean, unpretentious hotel in a quiet country location, ideal for an overnight stop on a journey across Europe. We had reserved a triple room, but were given a spacious suite with 3 separate rooms. The restaurant, which serves typical German dishes, was very good. We found the beds comfortable. Our dog was made welcome. Breakfast started at 6 which was ideal for us as we wanted an early start to our journey the next day.

It's a minor point, but there was no cold water in our bathroom basin.

Great breakfast, very quiet location, needed to travel by car to do any thing. Nice clean room and bathroom ok but see comment below about the shower .

Shower area needed updating as mould in the grout and lower door seal.

Excellent quiet village location, the rooms above the restaurant in the main hotel had very nice decor. Ample free parking right next to the hotel. Restaurant was lovely, we had dinner there. Breakfast was also very nice Continental food.

Not many shops around but if you plan well you won’t need!

Just off the motorway but quiet, we could still have dinner even though we arrived late, it is very clean and everyone was very helpful and nice, parking was easy, children liked really liked it, the food was very good.
