Perfect for an escape into the nature! The guest house is well maintained and cozy and the host Dieter is very welcoming. He accommodated our request for late check-in, which went very easy. The room is quite spacious offering a nice view of the surrounding hills. We visited in mid November, and we were glad that the room and the bathroom were equipped with the heating units which kept us warm. We also had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, both of which we enjoyed. The surroundings are very beautiful, and there are many opportunities for scenic hikes in the area. All in all, can definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay. We picked this property for its proximity to Eltz Castle. It's just up the road! Our room was large and well equipped. It had everything we needed for the stay. We drove to the property and there was ample parking for our van. Check in was simple and easy. We ate dinner and breakfast in the guesthouse too. Dinner was wonderful, it was fresh, hot and very tasty. Breakfast was small but more than enough. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The location is quiet, picturesque and easy to find.

The location is perfect in a quite town, close to the Burg Eltz. The owner is friendly and explains you all that you need. The room was nice and spacious with all facilities. We had the balcony room and it was lovely. The bathroom is modest but has all you could need. Breakfast had nice options and was lovely.

The shower could use a deep clean.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a kettle provided that is unusual in German accommodation, also the breakfast was delicious. If you are riding along the Moselle there is a bus you can catch up the hill to the accommodation that will take your bike along. It stops right in front of the hotel. It was so appreciated. It had a gorgeous outlook and the owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The ride back down to the river was very scenic.

Amazing staff, very welcoming and family feel to the place. Had an excellent dinner and got good advice on my trek to Burg Eltz (which was amazing too!).

The fact that Mondays and Tuesdays are closed with regard to Gasthaus lunch and dinner was a bit of a surprise honestly. But this allowed me to walk to the next village and enjoy a nice dinner there :) The only other thing might be the lack of AC - I was on the top floor and it was a bit warm. The provided fan helped though.

Beautiful location, onsite parking, really peaceful. Great for the castle down the road. Bar serves delicious local wines! Owner very friendly.

Turned away from the restaurant as it was busy. Next village along turned out to be very nice, great Italian!

The staff is very kind and it is close to Burg Eltz. Room is big enough. Windows have mosquito screen. Breakfast is also ok. The owner offers you a bottle of water when you do check in. It is quiet, no noise outside, just birds. I loved my stay.

This small hotel is within easy walking distance from Castle Eltz, which should not be missed when visiting the area. The staff were very friendly and engaging. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the breakfast. The single room was extremely clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again when in the area!

Owners were welcoming and helpful. Quiet location. Restaurant normally closed but they allowed us to join in with a horseback riding group they were serving. Food was delicious. Large room with a couch. Very convenient for early start to see Burg Eltz.

The room and bathroom had a strange smell. There is no ventilation in the tiny bathroom. Luckily, the window of the room itself can be opened wide.
