Quiet area but still close to river and attractions. Also, attached the Rhine-Mosel Hall (so no need to go outside). The room had a small fridge which was handy. The bathroom was very practical. It had all the amenities (hair dryer, heater to dry the steam, large mirror plus close up mirror) and space to hold stuff as well. The room had a functioning safe. There was also a sauna which I did not have the time to use, ufortunately.

Beds could have been comfier. The pillows were awful...just not stuffed suitably (even for a small head). The room was very hot and I could not control it. To bring the temperature lower in the room, I had to open the window.

Great location close to route down / back to Austria for ski holiday. Hotel is about ten minutes walk from main restaurants and bars in city across some busy roads but all pedestrian light controlled. Underground parking on site at €13 overnight which was good for us with having ski box on top of car. Reception was great both at check in and when we asked questions during our stay, perfect English spoken by all three people we spoke with. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast so can't comment. We were on floor 10 with great city views across river to castle. Voucher on check in for a free drink at the bar for all four of us.

Breakfast price put us off eating in so we went to city for a look around and had breakfast there for €45 for all four of us. Other than that we would certainly stop at Koblenz Mercure again.

We were overall happy with our hotel choice. It’s not near the city centre, and since it was very windy and cold during our stay, we regretted a tiny bit not having chosen a more central hotel. We also found the access to the hotel, especially by car but also when on foot, a bit confusing, as you have to go under a bridge, but take a few turns as well, and you keep taking the wrong path at the beginning. But when we booked our accommodation we wanted a place with easy parking, and it was the case (several parking spots available, on several floors, and not tight). Expect 20 euros per day/night. Apart from the distance (which was ok to do when it wasn’t as cold and windy), the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was also very friendly but professional. The breakfast buffet was also generous and on weekends it goes to noon, so it’s perfect if you need to rest. The view from our room was also very nice, we could see the Rhine river and the fortress (and even some cable cars!). There’s also a restaurant but we didn’t try it. Recommended!

The access to the hotel could be clearer and easier to understand/find.

Comfortable room, they give a complimentary bottle of water everyday. In my room there also was a mini bar with free drinks. there is a nespresso coffee machine with complimentary capsules, replaced daily, along with tea and cocoa. Many electrical sockets to charge gadgets and use laptops. The breakfast was very nice and the staff very kind and helpful. The hotel is connected to a congress center nearby, so I didn't have to go out when raining.

A bit expensive for its size. The Wifi had some problems, especially early in the morning.

Secure underground parking (€13 when you validate your ticket at reception, otherwise €20 for one night). Easy to find following Sat nav. Check in staff were great, as was breakfast.

Not the hotel’s fault but I booked due to it being adjacent to the river and wanted to walk to the Deutsches Eck statue via the river footpath, but due to work on the footpath we had to walk a long, long way round to get to the other side of the blockade.

The hotel is very beautiful. The staff is extremely nice. I had a privilege room . I had a view of the river. The room was on the 9th floor. Included a mini bar with free cold drinks, which was really nice. The room I found to be extremely clean. Nice size room. Comfy bed and pillow. Even an extra duvet and pillow in the cabinet. I was very comfortable. I had a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend this hotel.

There isnt anything that I didn't like.

Friendly and professional staff. Lovely location on the Rhein, close to the city centre. Excellent breakfast buffet selection. Good facilities.

Some renovation works ongoing with the elevator. The bar / restaurant closed rather early on the Saturday evening at around 11:30pm which is very early for a Saturday in Germany. We had just attended a late running concert in the Rhein-Mosel-Halle next door and were looking forward to a “night-cap” on our return to the hotel so were a little disappointed to be told that they were closed.

Very good hotel with car park underneath (public car park). Excellent view of the river and fortress from the room which was on the top floor. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Quite close to the main town (about 15 minutes walk). Would stay again.

Not the hotel’s fault but there is a major bridge building construction taking place outside. Work stopped by 4pm so not an issue

Within easy walking distance of the Rhine. Old Town and Deutsche Eck approx. a 20 minute walk. Spacious privilege room. Comfy bed, pillows. Large fridge, mini bar (beer, soft drinks) included. Clean, nice job guys. Helpful staff.

Our shower was slightly more dated than the one in the photo, but perfectly adequate.

We liked everything. Super friendly staff, magnificent breakfast, great evening menu and a very comfortable room. It was my wife's birthday and the staff bought her chocolates and made her a cocktail. Will definitely stay again, highly recommended.
