Our stay at Baudobriga Rheinhotel was outstanding! The location was beautiful and convenient. It was nice to have a room big enough to accommodate my family of 4 (2 adult sized teenagers)! We spent four nights at the hotel exploring the Rhine and Mosel area. The VMR train pass was a very nice benefit that we took advantage of. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast each morning was a delight! My entire family looked forward to it every morning. On the day of our departure, we had to leave prior to the breakfast time. I informed the front desk that we would be leaving the next morning before breakfast. About 15 minutes before we had to depart, there was a knock at our door and staff advised us the breakfast was ready a bit early if we had time to eat or wanted to take something to go. It’s that type of service that makes a place stand out! I have no doubt that if we end up in the area again, we will stay at this hotel without even looking anywhere else! Great family run hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Healthy breakfast options. Approx 6 mins walk to train, made good use of VRM card. We chose a River view room…so worth it

The smokers ruining the terrace dining experience…..please at least put them down at one end. Also non Europeans should note that rooms have no fridge, aircon or tea/coffee. And only crappy euro pillows! But the view makes up for it so splurge on a Rhein view people

We loved our stay here! We had a riverside room with a balcony that had an absolutely gorgeous view of the Rhine River. The hotel itself was very charming, our beds (two twins) were extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were a good size and spotless. The location in Boppard cannot be beat, right in the center of town and on the river. It was close to several restaurants, cafes, the walking path, and boat landings. It was a short walk up to the train station and a bit beyond that was the Sesselbahn chairlift. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and answered any questions we had. It was a wonderful stay!

Excellent location with terrific views of the Rhine river and gorge. A very pleasant area which is reflected in it being a World Heritage site! All the staff were 'first class', all very friendly and helpful. I must confess not knowing the lady owners name, but, she was brilliant with everything I wanted to know and obviously takes pride in the excellent Baudobriga!

Nothing, continue providing the same service that we received! Nothing was too much bother for any of the staff members who were always ready to have a laugh and joke with me! To sit watching the sun go down from our hotel room balcony was a very pleasant experience which I shall miss!

We had a very comfortable family room. There were only 3 of us, but it easily could have handled 2 adults, 2 children and an infant. The only thing we did not have was a river view, but we knew that in advance. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and served in the front of the hotel with a beautiful river view.

Unfortunately there was sewer construction right in front of the hotel. It won't last forever, everyone just carried on like it wasn't happening.

We stayed two nights in a unit with a river view. So nice to get out to the balcony for a look at the Rhine and boats. It was quiet at night, to our surprise. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom and shower. Hot breakfast had many selections and varied slightly by day. Staff were friendly and informative in helping us plan for day trips. The best feature was still the guest passes that covered almost all regional transportation and numerous local sites.

A fabulous hotel with an art-deco feel in an idyllic location. The staff were simply superb and when on arrival they saw our motorbike clothing was soaking wet they took them and dried them for us overnight - exceptional customer service. Breakfast was fabulous too.

A little disappointed to have been charged 7 euro for parking our motorbike on what looked like public land in front of the hotel ( it seemed to be part of the pavement!). Just worth pointing out that if you are travelling 'two-up' on a motorbike the routes in to Boppard are extremely hazardous with the tightest hairpin bends on acute gradients....... very risky, especially in wet conditions.

The hotel is right on the Rhine river, 5-10 min walk from Boppard Hbf station. Staff was very friendly, lovely breakfast with so many choices! We had a double economy room, beds were comfy, overlooking city views. Absolutely loved hearing the church bells in the morning and evenings! Would definitely recommend! FYI when you arrive you will need to carry your luggage up about 10 steps to registration and there is no A/C. We stayed in September so we opened the window for a little cooler air.

We have never returned to the same town twice when we go to Europe; however, we loved this hotel so much that we returned 10 years later. The views form the balcony are spectacular! The breakfast was wonderful! Everyone affiliated with this hotel is warm and caring. You can tell that they truly enjoy their calling to the hospitality industry. We also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner.

Excellent location on the banks of the Rhine, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Surrounding countryside is beautiful, with lovely walks and cycle routes nearby, and river cruises on your doorstep. Breakfast is good, with a selection of: fruits, cereals, juices, cold meats and cheeses, as well as breads and cakes to choose from.

The only thing that British travellers may miss is tea and coffee facilities in the room. Also, drinks glasses weren’t cleaned or removed.
