I spent two nights here in December with my partner and after the first day I said „of all the places I have visited over the years there have been few where I felt more welcomed than here.“ From the night desk, the wine bar attendants, the morning desk and the breakfast attendants they all, really all have been friendly, helpful and attentive. This is obviously a tourist hotel where day in, day out new people are coming and going. I might expect that a bit of the doldrums set in. Not here. The place is very clean. The rooms are spacious for two with enough storage to unpack and relax. The location is really top. We came by car and were able to park at the hotel. Sure, the lot is very small but they are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet has everything we needed. Coffee is brought to the table. Come early as it may get crowded later.

I usually stay at a hotel close to Koblenz Hbf, as my stays are almost always on the first night of an Interrail trip, starting that morning in Edinburgh, Scotland. On this occasion I decided to go for a hotel on the banks of the Rhein. KIt was around 20 minutes walk from Koblenz Stadtmitte station, which was ok. The young man on reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was fine. And the view from my window to Ehrenbreitstein was superb.

Location was perfect. Our room had a view over the Rhine and it was a few minutes walk to the old town with a vast choice of restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and great value for money with a wide variety to choose from and the staff were very friendly and well organised. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Just one small point for improvement. After 10pm you could only enter the hotel through the back door and the path was not very well lit.

A lovely view of the river from pur balcony and at a reasonable cost. Room itself was well organized with a very comfortable.bed. Had a tasty meal just two doors down from the hotel and there was slso a pizzeria next door. Just a block away. I found a great little store with various choices of liquor and snacks.. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Had to leave to catch an early train before reception desk opened. Unfortunately, we did not realize that payment for room had not been completed by Booking as usual so we ended up having to wire payment plus a transfer fee after we got back to Italy. If you have to leave before 7 am when the reception desk opens, be sure to ask if you can pay the night before! Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Clean comfortable room within easy walking distance of the old town. We booked a room with a balcony on the river side, this room had a beautiful view.

With the hotel located at the banks of the Rhine River, the location was perfect for the exploration of the city of Koblenz, especially of its Altstadt. And the views of the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress were spectacular.

Although the room was nice and clean, it was a little on the small side. Also, the refrigerator was very small; a larger one would have been more appropriate to cool our drinks during the quite hot summer days we experienced.

The best part ist the location of the hotel, which is directly at the rhine river. Most of the rooms offer an amazing view on the river and the fortres. The rooms were nice and clean, the scent that the flowers emit is a matter of taste. Parking was smooth, breakfast was good - the minimum standard that you would expect in a hotel in Europe I would say.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we were welcomed by extremely rude cleaning lady, who commanded us in an unfriendly tone not to walk towards the reception. We never came across this level of rudeness and attitude in our travels, a very bad first impression for the hotel overall. Luckily, the rest of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Most aspects of the hotel were very good. A small, but clean hotel, friendly staff. Good value for money.

Despite bringing my own tea bags and coffee from England - I couldn’t get a cuppa ! I arrived late on the Wednesday evening, checked in, got up to my room, only to find that you had to order tea and coffee making facilities ! At a cost of 8.5 euros ! I had neither the time nor the inclination to do that. So had to do without a hot drink during my stay (I was out at the football for almost all of my one full day in Koblenz).

The location on the waterfront was excellent. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the traffic on the Rhein was great. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and most importantly: quiet.

The rear location was not very posh but this is a really not a criticism.

Excellent location overlooking the river, view of the castle. Staff at breakfast excellent and attentive. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. At night, had to leave fan on and balcony door ajar for some coolness.

No air conditioning but comfortable enough for July. Parking was tight but ok since we arrived and checked in early enough.
