The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable with good pillows. The bathroom had a shower, good water pressure. Shower was a bit tight. Great views from the hotel. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. Location more suited to people who had a car. You can get to this hotel by public transport quite easily. From the Koblenz rain station walk across to the bus station, take bus 5 towards Asrerstein / Goebensiedlung, get off at the stop Lindenalle, it is the second last stop, don't panic if it does not come up on bus display, it eventually does, also let driver know your stop, (do not get off at Bastion stop otherwise you walk up many many stairs. From here it is a 10 minute walk to the hotel on relatively flat roads. There are signs for the hotel showing direction.

Hotel located on a ridge overlooking koblenz, there is no information about how to get to hotel with public transport, nothing comes up on Google maps. The hotel reception not very helpful, you are on your own. Reception not manned 24 hours. Hotel would be hard to find after dark.

We loved the hotel. It has fantastic views over the Rhein far below ,of the city and far beyond to the volcanic Eifel area.At night it was even prettier. We loved our spacious room,a sitting area ,good shower room, and very comfortable beds. The room was well furnished with little homely touches, but not too much. Breakfast was lovely.Prettily set breakfast room.Great coffee- a pot each! The staff were all so friendly..Super welcome, and a friendly farewell. We will definitely return.

Nothing really, but we landed on Monday and Tuesday when the gorgeous looking terrace, well known restaurant and bar were closed. I know this is common in Germany, but we rather felt if they’d got guests they should be looked after in this high season. Not a problem, but we had no experience of the above.Guests and locals bought beer and sat out on the carpark wall looking at the astonishing view.

View from hotel is great Staff friendly and helpful Bedroom clean and spacious Very comfortable bed, very quiet at night so had one of the best sleeps of our German Rhine cycle trip Grwst breakfast with lots of choice

We arrived after 2pm check in time and found hotel door locked however someone came after 5 minutes ringing the doorbell The hotel is high up, hence the great view at sunset, not so great pushing your loaded cycle up a 22% steep hill. That is obviously not the fault of the hotel!🤣 Easy ride down to city centre in the morning! Would have been nice to use hotel bar but it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Very comfortable room. Very clean. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was adequate and very reasonably priced. We got a deal on the room which made it definitely worth the money. Fantastic view over the city, especially at night time.

It didn't inconvenience us but other guests may want to note that it's a steep descent to the promenade and ferry across to the main part of the city, then a steep climb back again. Otherwise you really need to drive.

The location was very tricky to get to down very narrow, winding streets. But it was worth it. Amazing location high above the city with great views of the city and the rivers. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great shower & water pressure. Great parking.

The only downside for us that we unfortunately stayed on the night the restaurant was closed. The owner gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant, so it all turned out well.

The rooms were clean. Breakfast was lovely. The view of Koblenz was very nice. People came up there to hang out on the benches overlooking the city and watch the sunset. It was a short drive into Koblenz.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was just a stopover on the way home, but we would happily have used it as a base for exploring the area. The views from the terrace of the River Rhine and Koblenz are stunning and we enjoyed an excellent meal sitting out there in the evening. The food is predominantly local German cuisine and was really tasty, including a wonderful vegetarian spinach Schnitzel. Breakfast was lovely, with delicious fresh bread, a wide selection of cheese, meats and cereal and scrambled egg cooked to order. The coffee was great too. It's quite a steep walk down into Koblenz (and a steep uphill back!). If you're brave, use the Teufelstreppe (Devil's staircase), which is the most direct route and starts below the terrace. We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area - highly recommended.

Small hotel with direct contact with the owner. Amaizing view from hills over Koblenz. Quiet location

There was some confusion about the check-in. Check-in after 20:00 requires phone contact. As we only booked at 19:50 we noticed it to late, but it all worked out fine

Located on a hilltop right along the Rhine, which provided the hotel room a splendid scenary just outside its windows. Spacious room with sofa and coffee table. Some inconvenience in public transportation is expected since it is located at such location. But actually the hotel isn't too far from bus stops with frequent bus arrivals (at least for weekdays), so it was actually not too bad. Great breakfast, which is worthy of its value.

In-room information was provided in German only. Although not a big deal since everyone uses Google translate nowadays.

Very nice little place, easy to find. Good size parking area. Superb view of the city from the edge of the carpark. Challenging path down the hill if you wish to walk into Koblenz as we did, even more fun walking back up. Breakfast choice was good as was the coffee. Good shower and a comfortable bed. Would recommend this one for a short stay in Koblenz.

Only thing we could complain about were the local youths sitting on the wall outside yakking away till midnight and banging their tins of cheap beer about.
