Great hotel, excellent price/quality rate. The small rooms are actually quite big for a European hotel. Breakfast is excellent. They also own a pizzeria, food there was delicious! 100% recommended!

As all hotels in the area, parking is a bit difficult. We found parking along the main street by the river. Walking from there to the hotel is very easy.

Quiet location. No noise from outside. Rooms and bathrooms are renovated. Furniture very functional. Bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful.

The breakfast area didn't smell fresh. Sound insulation in between the rooms not effective so it all depends who is next door.

Breakfast was very good. Super location, walking distance to the train station and KD ferry dock & Rhine River yet nice and quiet. Breakfast were very good,. Room size is good and clean.

We loved the location and breakfast. It's a small hotel with some old and new touches.

The entrance was a little bit different than expected, we had to use the doorbell before we could enter. After that everything was perfect

At the end of the tourist season it was very quiet. Good breakfast. The room although small was adequate. Secure storage for bicycle. Right in the centre of a beautiful village.

Unfortunately there is possibly an issue with the waste water drainage system to the bathroom as the odour is very unpleasant.

This was more of an experience, in a good way! Staying in a 16th century building, with the narrow streets of Sankt Gore, church bells, etc was worth every penny. No, not modern, but it checked all the boxes. Good bike storage in basement (another great experience to see) was convenient with exterior access.

The good old German style Inn off the main street. Two minutes walk from the train station. It is run by non-German origin family, but they keep the old German hotel style (still make you fill out the guest registration form upon check-in, ridiculously big keyholder, etc.). The newly-refurbished room (room 7) is compact but has everything you need, Even a cold air fan is provided. Bath amenities: mini soap bar, hand soap dispenser, a shampoo sachet. Wifi works great. Hot shower works perfect. Typical German buffet style breakfast with simple selection: fruits, ham, cheese, cereal, nuts, yoghurt, German round bread, etc. No egg, bacon or sausages. All in all, definitely worth what I paid for. didn't try their restaurant, but they serve Croatian cuisine in addition to typical German dishes.

No blackout curtain. Only thin solar screen. There are thick curtains actually, but only for decoration it seems (The solar screen is blocking their way to close). The bed matress is too soft for me but bearable. The only thing that actually kills me was the noise - a group of Germans chatting and laughing so loud at the restaurant terrace, and then at the staircase landing until 1am. And on top of that, the nearby church bell rings every half an hour all night. Normally church bells don't bother me much, but when you are disturbed by the chat noise and struggling to sleep, it becomes additional torture.

The hotel is being renovated but the owners do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Spacious and clean refurbished rooms. Convenient central location. Amazing breakfast!!!

The beds, and in particular the massive pillows, weren't great.

The rooms are brand new and super clean. The TV, cabinets, bathroom are very modern and nicely done. The breakfast was also very good, simple but it covered all the usual food items you would expect at breakfast.

The rooms sit above a restaurant and at night, you should be aware that there might be noise coming from the restaurant and from the staff cleaning up. I sleep late so it didn't bother me too much but something to keep in mind.

Lovely old building with plenty of charm in a great location. Breakfast was great. Everything was clean. It was very quiet and we felt very safe.
