We stayed for 2 weeks in the 2 bed room apartment and it was large and very comfortable. The modern and well-furnished apartment is equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. An added bonus is the building is directly across from the grocery store! There is plenty of living space and the outside area very nice for meals or enjoying the weather. The staff was very responsive to any questions and concerns. The refrigerator was not keeping food cool enough so they provided a small refrigerator to help keep food colder. They promised a replacement but they were unable to secure a new unit before we left.

Absolutely nothing! However, a washing machine would be a nice addition!

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment block. It was right opposite the supermarket and a short stroll to the KD ticket office. The room was very comfortable and spacious and we felt right at home. The bed was very big and comfortable. The Wi-Fi never dropped out and staff were available to assist with any issue. In addition, the location was excellent as it was in easy walking distance to the train station, restaurants and local sights. We would definitely recommend Altkolnischer Hof apartments as a great place to stay.

smoking by others in neighbouring rooms' balconies required us to shut our balcony door/windows. (besides disturbing others, it's an old ancient wooden building... it makes NO sense to allow smoking anywhere)

No elevator at the apartments. Location is 100 m past the main hotel across from the supermarket at the far end of town. Bacharach needs to think about banning vehicle traffic on the weekends. It is very crowded with tourists. Many vehicles trying to speed through and so many motorcycles

Altkonischer Hof is located right in the center of charming Bacharach surrounded by a collection of other half-timbered buildings. Our deluxe double room was large, well-appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet had a selection of cold meats and cheese, lots of breads, cereal, bacon and scrambled eggs. The two sons of the owner were the staff we met and both were very helpful and spoke excellent English.

The shower/bath combo was a little awkward to navigate

We had a small bedroom apartment with a very complete kitchen, bathroom and small balcony. We were impressed with the kitchen as it had everything my husband needed to cook and keep leftovers in! The staff was very helpful and were able to provide laundry service (for a price) as we stayed 12 days! The grocery store is literally 60 steps away and Kleines Biergarten which had craft beer and excellent food was even closer! There were no noise problems even with the trains constantly going by. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. We highly recommend this property for a short or even a long stay!

Hotel has Medieval German charm! Excellent breakfast and authentic German cuisine restaurant. Rooms have modern updates. Our balcony was wonderful and we enjoyed the view. Elevator was modern. Village has 1500's buildings. Central location. Short walk to train station and river boats. We took a boat to Rudisheim and toured the city. This place will not disappoint.

The floors squeaked alot but it is but building is 100's of years old

The apartment was spacious and in a great location right in the heart of this charming town. There's a nice little grocery store across the street that had fantastic fruits and vegetables. We enjoyed making some of our breakfasts and lunches in the well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the extra towels and the large laundry drying rack. Convenient location for exploring the Rhine Valley. I highly recommend!

The Superior Double Room with Balcony was excellent. The hotel is very centrally located in the town and having the balcony to sit out on was superb. The Breakfast a is very good and the the Breakfast room is gorgeous, you are allocated your table with a name card being placed upon it.

Check in is at 3:00 which is fine, but the hotel reception door is locked before this time. As we had luggage and travelled by train we had expected easier access to the hotel to just drop off our luggage. We did manage to gain access via another guest entering and the staff were very helpful once we gained entry and they even allocated us our room before 3:00.
