The hotel is right in the middle of town which is a great first stop after arriving to Germany via Frankfurt. The hotel is family owned for generations and the hospitality is excellent with the owner there overseeing guest satisfaction and who is also a top rated chef. Views are spectacular. Rooms are modern with AC. Breakfast was personal with our name tagged on it he table making us feel special. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had and apparently it’s due to a special filter the hotel has. We had dinner on the terrace our first night with a great selection of local wines and fine dining. They were also helpful with our travel plans. Perfect location for day trips along the Rhein with the KD board dock in walking distance. We stayed two nights and could have easily stayed two more!

There is no elevator so just know you’ll have to carry luggage up stairs.

This charming and friendly family-run hotel was filled with traditional character. Our room, located on the top floor, offered a lovely view of major landmarks in Bacharach. Although the room, particularly the bathroom, was small, it was perfectly functional. We didn't hear any train noise during our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and our dinner at the hotel's restaurant was so good the first night that we immediately reserved a table for the following evening. The meals featured delicious local cuisine and wine. Bacharach itself was quiet and beautiful, and the hotel was conveniently located in the center of that town, near the KD boat dock.

Very nice, modern, updated, air conditioned room. Lovely, simple breakfast. Fantastic restaurant. Excellent location for touring the Rhein and Mosel valleys by car.

Soundproofing was very, very good, but some may struggle with the sound of the trains that go by frequently. We did not, but be aware if you’re highly sound-sensitive. Towels and bath amenities could have been a touch more luxurious, though they were more than good enough.

This was our first stop after an overnight flight from Dallas. We were exhausted and trying to keep busy in order to adjust to the time zone. They let us check in two hours early and loaned us very nice cruiser bikes for a ride up the river. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great followed by a pleasant walk around the picturesque, cobblestone streets of the town. Wonderful all around!

There is a busy train line right next to the property, but the hotel did everything possible to mitigate the disturbance including providing earplugs.

This was a phenomenal place to stay in Bacharach. The location is right by the water, and many of the rooms have River views. The town is small, so everything is easily accessible. It was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful in planning my activities and stay there. They also offer free bicycle rentals (but bring your own helmet) and the breakfast they serve is very delicious.

It was about a 10-15 minute walk on nearly exclusively cobblestone from the Bacharach train station, so it would be a little tough to get there if you have the rolling checked luggage type of suitcases.

Very nice hotel on the Rhine River. Train track in front you do not hear in the rooms. Room was very comfortable with lots of attention given to details. Phone chargers /usb sockets next to the bed. AC, our room had a bath, seperate bath and shower and sauna. We had our dog with us and they provided a dog food packet, when we checked in which he liked vey much. Great breakfast. Well worth a visit. Good diner too.

The staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. Especially Lisa at the reception desk. She helped us with boat tours, gave us everything we wanted (like extra pillows and towels) and generously upgraded us from the basic room to a suite. The restaurant served delicious food and service was terrific. Breakfast was complete, including perfectly boiled eggs. The location is unbeatable, so easy to get to. And the room rates and restaurant prices were reasonable.

If you’re a light sleeper like me, you will need earplugs for the train noise.

The staffs are super friendly, actively helping us, and speak perfect English. The room is clean, the design of the room and the hotel is very beautiful. Breakfast is great, and you can also eat dinner there. High quality, too.

The sink in the bathroom is not good. Water splashes everywhere when using. Samsung Smart TV but only TV channels, lol. Parking space is relatively small compare to number of rooms and restaurant capacity, but that's the best the owner can do. It's a small old town which listed in UNESCO anyway, should keep it that way.

The breakfast was the best breakfast we had our entire trip! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The chef would always check in on us to see how we were doing. The location is perfect! This was by far the best hotel we stayed in.

The only negative (if I had to pick one) was that there was no elevator. But the staff was so wonderful about helping us with our luggage.

Amazing! The best hotel we’ve stayed in in Germany. Everyone spoke English which was very nice as were coming from America. They went above and beyond for us! We accidentally overslept and missed the breakfast and when the chef saw us packing up our car to leave he ran out and invited us back in because they had saved some stuff for us. So they reopened breakfast for us and they were all just so incredibly nice and hospitable. 12/10 experience!
