The hotel was located in the beautiful, historic, small town of Bacharach. Most of the town consisted of old timber framed buildings. The single room was a good size and well furnished. A good selection of food for breakfast.The indoor pool was nice to have. The hotel was a few minutes walk away from the Rhine where you could get boats to visit places and there was a nice park area there. Also 5 minutes walk to the train station. Nice walks nearby to the castle and vineyards. It was the prettiest place that I visited on the Rhine.

Couldn't see any depth markings on the pool - I'm not a strong swimmer. Would of liked individual changing cubicles by the pool, not just a screen. There were no drinking glasses in the room, but there was a fridge.

Excellent two night stay. Good sized room with a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and set up us well for the day ahead. We had a very easy check-in and throughout our stay, the staff were excellent. The hotel is very near an extremely busy train line that was in constant use by freight traffic. We were concerned that this might affect our sleep but in the event it was not a problem and we slept well.

We were warned at check-in that it took a time for the water to run hot in the shower and so it proved. But that was not really a problem and the fact that we warned in advance was to the credit of the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The neighborhood was lively and full of character, with great local cafés and shops nearby. We always felt safe, even walking in the evenings. The parking was very close by, well-lit, clean, and easy to access. Finding the property was simple — it’s conveniently located and clearly marked. The host was incredibly responsive and met us promptly out front to help us check in. The entryway was clean and secure, and the key access worked perfectly. The apartment looked exactly like the photos — modern, well-decorated, and spotless. The curtains and floors were clean, and the walls were in great condition. The kids’ room was cozy, with secure windows and a quiet view of a shared courtyard. Our daughter loved having her room and little balcony. The beds were very comfortable with quality mattresses and clean linens. The bathroom was sparkling clean and fully functional, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Everything was in good working order — no issues whatsoever. It even had a nice little pool for the kiddo. We felt right at home here and were very pleased with our choice. I only wish we would have stayed longer. Highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a clean, safe, and well-located stay!

There was nothing that we didn't like. It was one of the best places we stayed.

Great location in the old town. Near a walkable section of the town walls and the paths leading up to the viewpoints on the hills around town. Easy walk down to the dock for river cruises. Excellent restaurants nearby. The room itself was very nice, large bedroom and modern bathroom. Plenty of storage for unpacking. Nice to have a table and chairs as well. A warm room with plenty of opening windows for ventilation. An excellent and varied breakfast buffet.

Wifi didn't extend to our room, but was excellent on the stairwell and in the restaurant, so only a minor inconvenience for us.

We loved this little hotel with excellent location, so convenient in the middle of Bacharach. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. Free parking outside town walls, which is just a steps away. Hotel room had balcony, comfortable beds, adequate bathrooms, indoor pool and sauna. But most of all the helpfulness of the staff, Ellen, was outstanding, as well as the location. Bacharach is the place to stay, and this hotel is a great find, especially for the price. Would highly recommend!

The room was very clean and cozy, not cramped. We had a balcony room facing the rear of the hotel, the part not accessible by the elevator. The room got top marks for being cool, dark and quiet! Perfect sleeping conditions in my opinion. Our bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a large variety of delicious foods! The location was excellent. Close to the waterfront, and near many restaurants. I felt safe while there. The staff were friendly and nice. They allowed us to use the garage to store our bags after we checked out while we waited for our boat. We have travelled through Germany twice, and both times we stayed in Bacharach. If we travel through Germany again, we will stay in Bacharach again. It is such a charming small town. And we will stay at this property next time.

Loved the size of the room, and especially enjoyed the sitting nook overlooking the Markt Tower and river. The shower was great, with excellent pressure. And we enjoyed the indoor pool after many days of travel. Front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. Unloading luggage near the hotel and then parking across the street was easy. The breakfast was excellent! Perfect location, right near the middle of town.

Monday morning garbage pick up seemed to take forever and was very very loud!

The hotel just locates near the road by the river. It's easy to find it. Parking is easy,just beside the hotel and for free. Bacharach is a small town. It's very calm in the evening. Only two or three restaurant were open that evening. But we were very satisfied with the dinner of the restaurant in the main street. German Beer is so wonderful. The family suite is nice with two rooms and four beds. It is a little noisy for the room facing the river because there are trains passing by. But since the window is so tight, going sleep quickly is still easy because we are tired travelers. Breakfast is good. The dining room is elegant.

We booked a basic room and that is what we got. Just fine. However the owner was wonderful. She was very personable and helpful. The included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Fresh breads, cheeses, meats, fruit and yogourts. There was even smoked salmon one morning. Loved it. Thanks so much! I believe this is a 3 star hotel, but the owner makes it a 5 star. Loved it.

Some of the rooms do not have elevator access, when the booking.com listing says they do. I suggest checking with the hotel to make sure.

Everything was wonderful- especially the ease of checkin, parking availability, and breakfast! There was plenty of room for our family of four. The only downside was no AC and limited number of fans for the rooms and the noise from the train outside the hotel. We expected the trains to stop at some point in the night, but they ran constantly and were quite noisy. Had the rooms had AC and we not needed the windows open, the noise would likely not have been as much of an issue. However, AC rooms are hard to come by in Europe. Given that, it was a wonderful location, very clean, and had a great breakfast!
