Very nice hotel, nice and friendly staff. We could easily check via the safe on the "rest day" of the owners. Clean room. Good beds. Mosquito nets in the windows. Nice breakfast. Airco in the room worked well. About 30 minutes drive from Europapark and Rulantica, much cheaper than the hotels over there.

At a slightly busy road. Small bathroom/shower. No elevator.

We stayed in one of the excellent corner rooms with the hexagonal lounge area which caught a huge amount of light on the rainy days we were there. Well decorated/maintained, comfy and welcoming, the room, entire hotel and staff create a relaxing feel. The restaurant is high quality with an excellent menu. The outside bar area is a really pleasant space to chill on an evening. Good proximity to thermal spas, Freiburg and the SW corner of the Black Forest.

Parking can be a challenge on an evening when the very popular restaurant is busy.

Close to Autobahn exits, food was nice, staff friendly. Only a few of the staff spoke English, not a problem for me, but might be for some travellers with no German at all.

I’m a full figured chap so need a good sized duvet, I was given a single on a double bed . I surmised it was so I didn’t sneak in an extra person. The room did not have adequate number of accessible power sockets.

Great location for me and all the staff were welcoming. Very little English spoke but we all managed well..

Depending on the time you get there on an evening the car park is full so you have to leave car further down the street.. The restaurant (which the food is fantastic btw) doesn’t open Wednesday and Thursdays and nothing much else around.

Perfect hotel to stay for 1 night in area Freiburg when you are travelling to or come back from Italy.

Restaurant of hotel is closed on wednesday and thursday for lunch and dinner. Normal breakfest on these days.

Lovely hotel right outside of Freiburg in a convenient location for parking close to the autobahn. Well air conditioned rooms (much needed in July) and really good breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Eveyrthing was great: Very friendly staff, convenient restaurant within the hotel and great food, big parking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I stayed one night and it was more than enough.

It’s a super cute German hotel in a small German town.

Wish there were more restaurants around in a walking distance.
