My room was on the third floor for which there was a lift or stairs. First impressions of the hotel were one of a modern appearance and well designed. It was going to prove to be an excellent choice There was plenty of parking to the rear of the hotel and overall its location proved to be easily accessible from the autobahn and via the local tram into FREIBURG. I enjoyed an excellent dinner with breakfast proving to be equally of high quality, overall a good choice and one that lives exactly up to its description, in my view an excellent hotel to stay at if travelling independently and wanting to visit the city of Freiburg.

There was nothing that I disliked, the staff were welcoming and informative and the service was excellent especially the attentiveness of the staff member from the US who served me at breakfast.

Conveniently close to our route to Basel, in a quiet area of the town.

It was a particularly hot day on arrival the rooms could do with some form of forced ventilation eg a simple fan or ceiling fan just to move air , as it was difficult to sleep otherwise a good stay

Such a lovely, typically German inn. Updated, clean, friendly staff, and very convenient to Straßenbahn and Stusie.

comfortable room and helpful freindly staff. good location for getting to the old town once you get the hang of the tram system. location in a quiet residential street

i did request a quiet room so was given a room on the top floor. only problem with this was you could hear the continous noise from the nearby motorway. also, just had s hower over the bath rather than a walk in shower - but that is just my personal preference

The room, the staff and the food. The room was really clean and tidy, I could have a good relax there. The staff was really helpful and nice (thank you very much for a good coffee). The breakfast was good and I could enjoy it.

Location - it was a little long way to the tram to go to city centre. But the service I received and nice people was the best reward and compensated this slight inconvenience.

The service, the location was perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious so was the wine.

It was hot in our room during the night. I missed an air conditioner. There was a small fan which helped a bit.

Room was nicey decorated, comfortable and spaceous. Breakfast was excelent. Very friendly staff. There is a parking lot next door if you arrive by car. We took the tram to town - tran station is just 7 minutes walk.

The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed which was ideal for sleeping before the Freiburg Marathon. Everything was very comfortable. Would recommend.

Clean tidy and in excellent condition. Very good buffet Breakfast. Good size shower and loads of hot water

My room was a bit noisy from road traffic and locals. The rooms at the back (deluxe) are better

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately we don't speak German so Nyla was on hand to translate the menu for us and she was brilliant.,she took plenty time to answer questions and to suggest options. A very helpful and pleasant member of staff. Food was amazing. Breakfast next morning was also very good and again staff were very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and restaurant. A short walk to the tram stop.
