We got an in-house champagne, as I informed them beforehand that we are celebrating our anniversary. The staff were really accommodating and approachable. Location and breakfast are the two things that are utmost important for me. This hotel did not disappoint. It is located in the heart of the city and was very convenient to walk around. The shops and restaurants are nearby. The breakfast buffet was pleasing, with lots of variety – different types of egg and bread, cold cuts, meat, cereal, fruit and drinks.

The room that we got didn't have any air conditioning. It wasn't mentioned when I was booking my reservation, but I suggest that if you'll book, double-check the room facilities.

The staff at the hotel were very professional and understanding of both myself and my wife for not being fluent in German. We, being English speaking primarily, felt very welcomed. The location is a perfect central point to the rest of the town, which makes everything, including shopping and sightseeing, within walking distance. The in-house restaurant was outstanding. We were in town for only 2 nights, but we ate there both times. It was that good. The water pressure in the shower was amazing.

The only negative I have is the lack of a fan in the room. Not being able to get any air flow made it a bit toasty at times. We were on the ground floor, so we couldn't/didn't want to leave the windows open to the room.

Centrally located, great parking - municipality underground car park directly behind the hotel, 2 metres height restriction, and way reasonable enough at €11 a day. Rooms comfortable and clean, staff helpful.

Breakfast was expensive. The first morning the hot breakfast was very tired, dreary and desultory looking so €18 a head for breakfast was way over the top price wise for the rest that was on offer. However there are numerous great bakery/cafes a short walk away in which we enjoyed super breakfasts way cheaper.

The room was comfy, spacious, and decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the restaurant, and how close this hotel was to city center. It helped make our trip even more relaxing knowing that our hotel was close by if we needed to go back quickly. Parking was onsite and easy, which made the trip a lot let stressful worrying about street parking or safety. We would absolutely stay here again!

As Americans, the lack of air conditioning was a downfall. Luckily, we brought a travel fan with us that made our July stay much more bearable. The bathroom was okay, but clearly hadn't been updated like the rest of the room. Everything was functional, just not as nice as the bedroom.

When I made a reservation, the staff was very kind and immediately provided directions to the parking lot. As the day of my stay approached, they mentioned the directions to the parking lot once again, making it easy for me to park without any confusion. They had prepared a very quiet room for me, and since it had been very cold, I was grateful that the staff brought a heater. It's a hotel with friendly and competent staff. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located for going anywhere.

There were no specific issues, but since it had been cold, it would have been even better if there was an electric kettle in the room.

Perfect location in the center and a nice underground parking garage. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great, the buffet itself was closed due to low occupancy of the hotel but the staff came to our table and brought anything we asked for straight from the kitchen, freshly made.

No tea/coffee/water boiler in the room. Maybe we had to ask for one.

I know the Klösterle for years. The re-vamp has done wonders and the new management has improved staff happiness and engagement. The breakfast buffet was enhanced and it was noticeable and delicious. New amenities in the bathroom are very good

Keep up the good work and maybe think of replacing the pillows for more plumper ones, as well as be more consistent with towels refreshment.

The hotel was in the center and it was all round good. The reason I did not give it a better rating was it was functional rather than being a warm experience

The lady who checked us in was delightful however in the room they had only given us 1 teabag. When I asked for more I was made to feel as though I was imposing. I realise there are language differences but it was not a pleasant experience. I suggest more customer training.

The hotel is extremely well run, staff are terrific, rooms are a generous size, and it's in a modernised historic building handy to everything. With the frig and kettle we could always make a cup of tea e.t.c. Also there was perfect storage for our touring bikes. The private bathroom was excellent, wifi good too. Highly recommended, we'd stay again.

Our ground floor room was near the front entrance, and there was a large function adjacent on Saturday night. Late into the night people were out the front smoking and being very noisy. Because there was no air conditioning, when we closed the window it became stuffy.

A wonderful hotel in the center of the town, everything is reachable by foot. The Saturday morning on the market was a pleasure. The visit of the church tower is a must although there are a lot of stairs. It is great that the garage is so close to the hotel and it is quite cheap. The staff in the hotel was very nice and helpfull. Also the breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant was very polite. The room was big and cosy as well as the bathroom. Very good bed.
