Proximity to Phantasialand was the real draw here. The restaurant breakfast was very nice and we had a dinner at the restaurant too, which was also very tasty. Bit of a walk / short bus trip to the more historic area of the town, including the beautiful Augustusburg Palace and gardens. Bruhl town is a lovely, quiet place to unwind after a crazy day at the theme park.

The hallways outside of the rooms really need a carpet change. Looking very worn and stained. The rooms are perfectly fine, although the decor is a bit dated. Would've made the stay just that tiny bit better if kettle's were provided in the rooms. The garden area also needs a bit of love and care which would make breakfast even more enjoyable.

Staff were superb, super helpful, attentive and professional. We loved breakfast, there was so much to choose from! Also, the staff at the restaurant are very hardworking people and keep the place impeccable and the buffet always well served. The closeness to the park, the parking, and the access to a spa after spending the whole day in Phantasialand are all amazing plus.

Unfortunately, the rooms are way past their prime and in need of an upgrade or at least some basic renovation. Pillows, furniture and mattresses seem very old and honestly quite uncomfortable. Carpet is a disgrace and there are stains everywhere... As a manager I would push for a renovation of the rooms because this staff and clientele deserves a better looking building.

Nice personel, they respect your privacy and leave you to yourself, unless you need help, then they are there to help. The breakfast is excellent. Scrambled eggs, sausages, normal eggs, fresh croissants, fresh bread, nice tea, excellent fresh beans coffee, lots of other stuff, yoghurt fruits etc..when you book also book breakfast, it's worth it. Rooms are clean. Sheets are clean. Wifi is good.

The reason why I don't give a 10 is because there are some minor things that need attention: - toilet seat needs to be replaced. It's clean but old - we run out of tissues in the bathroom, they weren't replaced - there wasn't an option to use youtube on the tv or to mirror your mobile phone to tv.

This was our second time staying at this hotel during our visit to Phantasialand, which is conveniently located just 7 minutes away. The city of Brühl also offers plenty of great dining options. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality food.

The double room is on the smaller side, which we were already aware of. For a short stay like ours (one night), it was perfectly manageable. However, for a longer visit, it could feel a bit tight, especially if you’re traveling with larger luggage. We each had a small cabin-sized suitcase, and even then, there wasn’t much space to unpack without blocking part of the room. On our second visit, the main parking area was full. While the hotel offers underground parking, it’s at an additional cost, which feels a bit unexpected for guests. Fortunately, there’s a free supermarket parking lot next door that we could use. Lastly, just a heads-up for EV drivers — there are currently no charging stations at the hotel.

Location odd but actually very good with everything you need near by. Rooms good size and comfortable Bar and other facilities good, staff very friendly. Free parking that not many hotels in the area have. Good selection of breakfasts. Fair price not as good as others but not expensive.

The evening meal was disappointing, the taste was good but only a buffet on without a selection, was a bit cold and the cost was above what it should have been for the quality, my advice would be to walk up the road to a nice little Italian restaurant 1km away. The room was generally clean but under the bed and bedside table hadn't been cleaned in a long time so any clothes placed under there became very dusty, dirty and covered in fluff. Bathroom was quite small for larger people that could be a problem but for most it was perfectly fine.

Location is very close to Phantasialand, about 5-6 min by car. Plus in 10 min walk there’s a train station that can take you directly to downtown Köln (Cologne). It will take about 30 min. And trains arrive very often. Rooms are clean, service and personnel are very friendly. Though cleaning people we met spoke neither German nor English. Breakfasts were very good with variety of choices.

Somehow the room entrance is very narrow and we all hit our elbows and shoulders at the bathroom door handle when entering the room. Another thing is also the security. You don’t use your room card for the elevator or the stairs which means anyone can enter the building.

We came to Bruhl literally just to visit Phantasialand and was very happy with the hotel! I admit the reviews are a little misleading about how close the theme park is. it's about a 48 minute walk from the hotel! But not many people seem to mention on the reviews there's a public bus (#985) you can catch at the bus stop that's nearly directly outside the hotel (or you could walk into the centre of Bruhl and catch the shuttle bus which would take a lot longer) The public bus is not expensive, but I've noticed in busy times the driver just seems to let people on for free. Takes no longer than 5 minutes by bus! The staff members were very helpful giving us information on the buses. The breakfast had a great selection and was a great bonus to our stay. Beds super big and comfy and also had AC! Netto supermarket right next door (but we found the HIT supermarket across the road was a lot better)

If I'm being picky, the decor is a little bit dated. Also sucks not to have your own kettle in the room. Not a ton to do around that area other than PL.

The breakfast was so rich, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel is so peaceful and comfortable that you can wake up in the morning and listen to the birds. Discount stores and pharmacies are located next to the hotel, making it easy to shop for daily necessities. Free parking is really convenient for us and can save some money.

Hotels could do a better job of daily room cleaning. Sometimes the waiter is asked to change the drinking water, but they can not get the corresponding, in addition, some supplies for bathing are often not provided.

We are a family with 2 kids, although the room cannot accommodate all of us but we were assigned with two connecting rooms, which worked as a good alternative. Breakfast was good with quite some options. There is a discount supermarket just next door. An excellent location to get to Phantasialand.

Room is a bit small and as well as bathroom but it did not bother us. There was a room full of cigarettes smell, not very nice as I was travelling with my kids.

The breakfast was really good, it had a lot of options like fruits, breads, kinds of honey, eggs, and pancakes, as well as beverages. The spa was also nice, though there was a bit of confusion about where the bathrobes were, in the end, they were in the bedroom. Somehow we were expecting some slippers provided by the hotel to go to the spa, but there were none, so we would recommend you take flip-flops with you. The comfort of the mattress was really good for me, I like firm mattresses and I was able to sleep really well, my husband, on the other hand, would have preferred for it to be a bit softer.

The room had a silverfish, I hate them so my husband had to chase it and get rid of it. Also as mentioned earlier, there are no slippers provided by the hotel for going to the spa, which in a sense is a plus to make it environmentally friendly.
