The location is fantastic! The room was comfortable for four adults. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very communicative about property procedures as we had a later arrival time. The accommodations are older but comfortable. There was even a mini fridge which was a pleasant surprise! The breakfast buffet was a lovely selection. If you are driving, there is plenty of easy access parking too.

A very minor dislike-We were four adults traveling, so having a room with a bunk bed was a little precarious for the taller people. It would have been nice to know this was the situation, especially after a long day of driving.

We were kindly welcomed and shown to the room. The room was nice and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was nice and with a solid selection for such a small hotel. The location was also great for us as we visited Phantasialand that is about 10 minutes away by car.

I wanted to use the big ''tea'' mug for coffee at breakfast and was sternly told only cmall cups for coffee, which in my mind is a little bit ridiculous. So instead of filling one bigger mug I went and filled a smaller mug 3 times, no problem. This was the only negative - I felt very observed during breakfast, like there were rules I have to follow and no one told me. Otherwise, great breakfast!

This is a very good place to stay for a night or maybe a little longer. We had a room with 4 beds (which had a kitchen in it) for our grown kids and a double room for us as parents. Breakfast was very good and the rooms/bathrooms and so on were clean and nice. We might return here if we ever need a stay near Köln.

It is located close to a road so some traffic noise is present.

We went to Gamescom with a group of 3 and found the price of 180 per night for such a big room with breakfast included to be incredible, the croatian restaurant in walking distance was truly incredible also! The serene calm of the area at night was very welcome, it felt safe & quiet & lovely.

Bathroom was a little small for me as a 192cm guy.

Nothing in particular, it’s an old style hotel, basic, no frills, but good value for money.

The breakfast was very good, you have a lot of choices between sweat and salty food. The room was really spacious for two, and the bathroom was a little bit short, but it is still a great bathroom. There is really enough parking for every guest and that is really practical, also there are also a lot of stores/restaurants in proximity if you ever needed something. It is also 10/15 minutes away from the Phantasialand.

The bathroom is a little bit small, but still, but i find it to not be a deal breaker, because there are a lot smaller bathrooms and unkept bathrooms than this one

Great location for Phantasialand. Close to supermarkets. Beds in room well spaced out. Very quiet. Fridge an unexpected bonus.

the hotel is very pretty and has a cool country vibe to it. They were very easy to contact and keep in touch about our arrival, the staff is super friendly and helpful. BEST OF ALL, they accommodated and accepted my dog with open arms. I have a 3 year old husky that I take with me everywhere and they were happy to have her.
