You get to stay within a castle, so you are surrounded by pretty architecture. Nice natural surroundings. Especially nice breakfast. Has private parking - it's not within the hotel building and it's not physically secured, but it is just steps away, and hidden from the road, and the area inspires confidence. Wasn't much money.

After certain hours they don't have people there, so I worried about coming late and getting clear instructions for getting into my room, but it eventually it all worked out and it wasn't difficult to use the self-check-in machine they have.

I loved this place, clean room with view of frozen river ( or lake). Breakfast was basic, i appricciated that they got me plant based milk after I asked for it. Also, they were extremely helpful when I couldn't get taxi in morning to the airport, they helped me and called a lot of people before one arrived.

Self check in process ( with hotelmat) was not working, and since I arrived late at night, I needed to call and wake up contact person to come and help me get my keys. Luckily, they live nearby so i waited max 5 minutes. Also, there is no good public transport connection, and taxi is hard to find so I reccomend to plan ahead your trip to airport if coming arrival by plane (I almost missed my flight).

Our family loved their room. They had a large quadruple room with bunkbeds for the children. We all loved the location and setting. It was very special. The bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom and showers were clean and spacious. We spent 2 nights. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, and they gifted us with a bottle of champagne, which was very nice! Breakfast had a very good assortment of choices, and the coffee machine had many different modes to select from, including cappuccino. We very much appreciated that our 2 small dogs were allowed to stay as well. Thank you! It was very restful and peaceful there.

Our room, although we paid a little more for the larger double room, was smaller than expected.There was no A/C from what we could discover, but apparently, this is common in Germany. Breakfast was delicious but quite sparce. We arrived right after they opened, but there were only 3 pieces of bacon left. €15 was expensive for what we received. Overall, he cost of the 2 rooms was expensive, and It would not be within our budget to plan to return.

This is a lovely location to stop on the way back home to the Netherlands. The room was cool and comfortable, and it was just a short walk to the town centre where there are restaurants, bars and shops.

There was nothing to dislike, but I would like to make a suggestion. The courtyard is so quiet and lovely that it would have been nice to have some outdoor seating and access to an honesty bar.

Very nice location and the breakfast was great. The double bedroom was big and my three year old had a large and comfortable sofa bed. We accessed our ground floor room directly through the courtyard without going through a reception. It was all very nice, quiet, convenient and private.

What a nice place to stay. The view and location are gorgeous. We were here one night with our 2 kids. The automatic check in to get your key is really handy. Our room (nr 10) was specious and newly modified. Nice bathroom and the bed for us and the kids ( double bed) where good. Next time we go to phantasialand we will stay here again.

No safe in the room. No communication when I asked.. no air conditioning only a fan. Evening food 15 mins walk away. Has to find as no recommendations. Found a lovely Italian place.

Great location and a spectacular building. Check in process was easy and the room was really comfortable and spacious. Plenty of parking and also a nice walk around the grounds. Will certainly stay again on our next trip through Germany

The additional charge for the dogs was a little high.

The rooms were very nicely laid out and well specced, beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The actual Property was set in a beautiful and quiet location with great restaurants, cafes and bars within a short walk.

Set in the grounds of a moat hotel in a wonderful quiet location. We had a room in what I would guess were former stables. Small, very modern and extremely clean and functional. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.
