A fantastic option when visiting the Cologne/Bonn area. The location right by the Rhein river makes it very special and any comparable properties are far more expensive. Our room had a nice balcony to be able to enjoy the views even more. Very clean and minimalist decorated room and bathroom. The property has an excellent restaurant with magnificent views on the premises. Free parking close by. The hotel and restaurant staff were very professional and friendly.

The hotel would benefit having air conditioning in the rooms- even if they would charge extra for this service. We stayed during a heat wave, and even though we were offered a standing fan- this was not enough to keep us cool at night which impacted our comfort. A few more English content TV channels would be appreciated as well.

Superb,we arrived by bicycle on a very hot day and were immediatly offered a cold drink and a chocolate bar.that was very much appreciated.our room was cool and spacious overlooking the river.food in the restaurant was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is nothing to dislike.

We stayed here one night as we visited cologne and bonn. The hotel is in the middle of the two towns more or less. The view on the river at sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Very clean, comfortable bed and very accommodating staff that allowed us late check in. I definitely advise to try the experience.

The room had a balcony and view over the Rhine. The staff were accommodating and let me park my motorbike just outside the annexe where my room was. The bar itself has well priced food and a nice modern ambience.

The room was a bit warm and the Rhine is a working river with plenty of traffic. So, sleeping with the window open may not be as quiet as you'd hope. I'm a very light sleeper and was aware of the river use, so slept with earplugs in. Had a good night's sleep :-)

The hotel has an excellent situation right on the river - you feel as if with a big jump from your bedroom window you could land in the river! There is a nice outdoor terrace again right on the river. You can sit and watch all the barges and other boat traffic go past.

Some of the staff were very keen to close the terrace because there were a few drops of rain, but others encouraged guests to use tables where there were parasols.

The value for money was amazing. The view and hospitality was great. The room and restaurant was way better then I expected. And the staff was friendly and really helpful. We checked in late and everything was really easy. Including the free parking. Which they have a ton of and we brought our small dog that they treated like a valued guest. They also allowed him into the breakfast area which is a huge deal for my husband and I. We usually have to eat breakfast separately when they don't allow our dog in becuase he could bark at anyone walking by the room. So that was wonderful. The view of the river was unmatched!

The balcony with the view was connected to the 2 other rooms next to ours. So in the morning the cleaning crew came over to our table and chairs to pick up something and the window was open and they may have gotten an eye full..... A gate of separation between the rooms on the balcony would be nice. It also keeps our dog from looking in other rooms windows.or possibly going into other people's rooms if the door is open. But that's a really minor thing. Our stay was amazing and we will definitely come back!

Location, location, location

No separate bar. Considering it's kinda remote location we expected a residents bar but could only use their restaurant which only served food until 9pm and closed at 10pm

Amazing view from the restaurant, right on the Rhine. Friendly staff and great food in the hotel restaurant. Comfortable and clean rooms. Has everything you need. From the hotel you walk down and along the Rhine river

Room over looked the Rhine, dinner was good and staff very attentive.

No relaxing area/bar to sit away from the restaurant after a meal except for the outside area, which is for sunnier and warmer days.

Absolutely amazing views of the Rhine.. beautiful location for a peaceful stop over (although not much around otherwise). Staff were great, food in the restaurant was delicious! Safe and secure parking provided for our motorcycles.
