I have traveled to Koln for ANUGA. I have never been to Koln and I didn't know what to expect. So, here's my experience! Lovely place, quiet neighborhood. It is so quiet at night you won't believe especially if you're somebody living in a city like me! No cars passing, no sirens from police cars or ambulances. It is so peaceful and it was perfect! It is not a hotel but a B&B! The owner shares a part of his house with you so, please be considerate! He'll help you with everything you may need but there are areas that are and should remain private. Breakfast was served every morning but I'm not a breakfast guy... A cup or two of coffee is all I need and I was fine with my choice. But there was a nice thing to see the owner going to the bakery down the street every morning to bring fresh bread and pastries. It was a nice touch and I'm still a no breakfast person but if you are, fresh bread and pastries in the morning along a perfect cup of coffee must be nice. Prepare yourself for the most comfortable mattress you have ever experienced! I traveled all over the world and I have spent good money on my beds but that was a different level of comfort! I have slept like a baby! Again, it is not a hotel and there is a shared bathroom. Didn't bother me at all and there is a toilet downstairs too. It might be a problem if you're in a camp or something where everybody wakes up at the same time. It was not the case while I was there! You will have free parking 15 meters away from the gate. Perfect! There are two restaurants near by but be aware that one of the restaurants is open only on Thursdays and Fridays. Gorgeous garden and great food though... The second one serves Greek dishes and, as I have traveled to Greece every year for the past 3 years, I can tell you the food is pretty close to the real home made food food I had in Greece. Be prepared though to pay cash but, there is an ATM near by...

Due to some circumstances we had an "upgrade" of the place to stay and we slept in a tent, fully equipped with the electricity, heating, very comfortable beds. We had an access to the house yard with an excellent view, a swimming pool, having a possibility to make a fire. Breakfast was included and it was very good. The price was quite high, but we were in the period of EURO 2024, so maybe this was the reason. The house was with cats and dogs which were very friendly. Would be happy to come back.

Beautiful backyard to sit and relax in. The beds were comfortable and long (I fitted at 6'4/194cm). Although the bathroom was shared we had no issues with the other attendants. Very friendly host who came with good suggestions for places to visit. Overall we had an extremely pleasant and relaxing stay.

The shower couldn't be adjusted for height, and if I stood straight my hair touched the showerhead.

The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The garden is gorgeous and the owner is very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice and it is a great place to visit both Bonn and Cologne.

The access by public transport is easy, but it takes around 40 minutes to get to and from Cologne.

Great place just some 20 mins south of Köln. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful garden. We stayed in the tent with our young kids and enjoyed it very much - super comfortable beds. Would stay again

Coffee should be included with breakfast

There nothing more that could have been done to make us anymore welcomed. The host, Achmin was perfect.

I cannot expand anymore on the accommodation provided for the money was perfect, if you want a spa, restaurant. room service then use a hotel and pay £100's.

Achim the host was really friendly and helpful. Everyone else that stayed were really nice too as we had a house with a mix of England and Slovenia fans for the Euros. Would recommend anyone else thinking of staying.

Comfortable beds. Full kitchen with bakery close by. Host was friendly and very easy to communicate with (English or German) and responded quickly to any concerns or questions both before our stay and during.

No AC made the upstairs bedrooms quite hot in July. Photos in the post are confusing since the rental house and the B&B pictures are all grouped together. This property should list the house separately from the B&B.

The host is very kind, always helpful and available to share tips about public transportation, places to visit in the city and around in the neighborhood, place to eat and what to do. The garden view from the living room where we had breakfast is beautiful and the dogs and cats are very nice too. Breakfast was very rich (salty and sweet options). We are really satisfied. We went for a short get-away with the kids and I choose this place because of the location not far from Phantasialand, but also because of the pets. The kids loved it. The host is an adventurous gentleman with whom I shared quite a few interests, so a good chat was easy. The location close to the river made that you could have a nice walk and enjoy the sunset.
