Central placement, clean facillities, okay breakfast, great value for the price.

As i liked the central position, i also hated it, as almost everywhere, main stations does attract sketchy people, the area is full of Africans, Arabs, Turks, kebab shops and gambling shops, the first ethnic German i met was the hotel receptionist, walking around in the city centre, you dont feel safe, cars cruising around with 3-4 men in it, starring with evil faces at pedestrians. Its not the hotel to blame. This probally not woke to tell it like it is. I dont care, its how i experienced the city.

Friendly and supportive staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed with clean bedding and towels, good room heating.

Stayed 6 nights but on the last night there was limited hot water.

Room was clean, good water pressure for a hot shower, very friendly staff. Location is central, pretty much everything you need is within walking distance.

Pillows are a bit too soft, and there was doors slamming at 6 AM

The hotel is conveniently located to city centre as well as the main train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, quick access to Wi-Fi and a good-sized comfy bed made my stay really pleasant. Even with a busy road outside, inside the rooms it was really quiet.

What I've missed is a water kettle in the room.

Excellent old fashioned German hotel. Think we need to keep these alive else there will only be B+B Hotels, MotelOnes, Intercityhotels, etc etc left to choose from.

The neighborhood is a bit run down, too bad.

Very comfortable room in a good location in central Hagen. The neighborhood is a bit noisy but my room was pretty soundproof - it's more the people loitering outside that were noisy, not the hotel's fault.
