What a delightful stay at Hotel Schindlerhof! The beautiful Japanese garden was a serene escape, and our bedroom views directly onto it were simply magical. Waking up to such a tranquil scene made our visit incredibly special and truly warming. We can't wait to return!

Internete coverage was a bit poor in room 137. Also constantly you had to refresch the connection and everytime accept it. Is annoying if you work from your hotel room the whole day.

Lovely property, friendly staff, excellent restaurant and breakfast.

Air conditioned hallways leading to a room with no ac felt a little like a cheap trick; there was at least a good quality quiet fan supplied. Minibar prices very steep, even for mineral water. I have enjoyed my stays in winter here more. Student wait staff tried hard, but made several beginner’s mistakes that you don’t expect at a restaurant of this quality.

The overall experience was great. Lovely & Courteous staff and wonderful ambience all around. I would specially call our Lara at the front desk, who was very helpful, always going the extra mile with a smile!

One of the hotel gems I have stayed at since my childhood's first road trips to Europe. Due to the many happy memories there I want to go back to Schindlerhof every time! The hotel's atmosphere and surroundings are modern, idyllic and tranquil, and the 'unvergESSliche' restaurant serves the world's best food and barbecue food of very high quality. Can recommend a night in a Ryokan room by the beautiful Japanese garden. Take me back <3

Due to the traffic queue, we unfortunately did not reach the hotel until after the restaurant had closed. However, this was not the hotel's fault, and they really tried to give us a boost by serving a glass of beer/wine on the house and delicious salty pretzels as a snack. And also, there was a cute cat walking around the restaurant's lovely outdoor area. So the negative was all in all turned into a very pleasant experience anyway.

Everything was perfect, beyond our expectations.

Most people say that there is always room for improvement, but I cannot find anything to be improved at this hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect.

The staff are just incredible! From the moment we reached the hotel till we left they were so friendly 🙂 On the phone, Tina & Jana have already been so engaged and gave us different options. They surprisingly upgraded our ryokan room to a suite for no extra cost. It was super clean, cosy, had an amazing view on the pond as well as a relaxing bathtub. The food was scrumptious 😋 Rosina brought us a chocolate dessert for breakfast that was just mouthwatering! A lot of the food is organic quality, they have vegan options and you immediately feel comfortable within the restaurants design. I've stayed at 5* hotels before, but this place definitely exceeds that already!
