Absolutely love this place, this is our fourth stay in the smart balcony rooms, they are perfect. Unfortunately we could not extend our stay to an extra night due to flight cancellation and needing an Extra night stay so had to unfortunately book a double room due to un availability. The young man at reception is extremely professional, very friendly and accommodating. Was a real pleasure, thank you.

The fact that due to unavailability, we were only able to book a double room for the extra night. This meant we had to pack everything up for the last night, which was not a fault of the hotel but the double room for the extra night was a real shocker. I am puzzled why they have such a huge difference in the quality of their accommodation , of course it made our final day stay was pretty uncomfortable compared to the fabulous stay we had in the hotel the previous 5 days.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed, and the location suited us well as for our trip. The area is quiet, with some good restaurants, stores and a park nearby. Highly recommend the blaue traube - huge portions, good food. The hotel is pet friendly and we didn't have any trouble with our dog. Breakfast was good, and the fact that we could reserve parking ahead of time was a huge bonus for us. We only stayed one day but it looks like a good location to spend a longer period of time as well.

Parking spaces were very narrow - it was a bit hard getting out of the car as the driver. The easiest improvement point would be the attitude of the receptionist, who was not as welcoming as one would expect.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful and informative. Our large suite was amazing. Had two bathrooms (though only one toilet), a functional kitchenette, an infrared sauna (wow!), living room, dining room, two TVs, good AC, and to top it off, a lovely semi-private rooftop deck with tables and chairs. We had the room for 6 nights and would definitely stay again in that room.

Though the mattress was on the hard side and the bottom sheet was rough, we slept comfortably. We were disappointed with the quality of the breakfast and only had it once. Eggs were overcooked and cold and the bacon was undercooked and unappetizing. Otherwise, the breakfast was acceptable. This hotel is very modern in its approach and decor...no actual keys, but rather codes. We got the hang of the codes fairly easily but elderly guests might be thrown by the learning curve.

It is very nice establishment. I got room 136 and bathroom in that room has pumps for all the building it seems and the noise never stops. Amazing people from the hotel (Ms Annalena, the night manager) through whats up managed me to room 224 which was fantastic, quiet and had a balcony. Everything was highly efficient and, when you have a chance to meet actual people from the hotel, an example of Bavarian warm hospitality.

It is an example of new tourist industry that minimises actual people. This is also less bother and more efficient, including extensive communication online. New times are rapidly coming. Corridors and lifts can be a bit confusing but it is what it is. Also, you need to have internet, so it is obvious that hotel caters to EU citizens, considering how difficult is to verify a German telephone card.

Great comfy room. Amazing breakfast, especially appreciated 'healthy' section with smoothies, ginger shots and soaked oats. This is very rare to find in Hotels so thank you so much! I also like that they offer digital self check-in so no matter what time you arrive you can easily get access to your room. Parking needs to be reserved in advance and cost €15 which is very reasonable for a hotel in a city centre. Added benefit of reserving is that you know there will be a space available for you once you arrive. Added bonus for EV drivers is there is a charger with 2 points and costs €0.49/kWh which is quite reasonable for a public charger in Germany. It supports contactless payments but I used the App and worked great, fully charged my car overnight. Just make sure to let them know when reserving your parking space so they will allocate you one at the charger.

Our room was spacious and super clean with a lovely ensuite bathroom. All we needed for a weekend away from home. The staff was helpful - my parents didn't like their room on the ground floor, where street noise bothered them all night, and were upgraded to a loft for the second night, which helped them sleep much better.

Our TV standby screen switched itself on each night waking us up. The street is not a main street but does somehow have a lot of foot traffic which kept us from opening the windows.

I'm not a fan of a 100% electronic humanless interaction. Makes it feel soulless. But i get it. I just dont like it personally. Also, an acces card would be helpful when going out the room so you are not fully dependent of a 10 digit acces code on your phone

The hotel is located about 10mins walk from the Main train station which makes its location pretty central. The room itself was a bit small but fine as my only purpose was to sleep there as I was away the entire day. The bathroom is pretty small and I believe they somehow carved it out to put it there in the room. At the end it fulfilled its purpose. The entire staff is more then friendly and they are keen and always open to give you some tips if you want to dine outside or have any sort of question . The hotel is pretty much advanced considering the check in and out procedure and it all can be done through a smart phone. It also has a paid laundry wash room, e vehicle charging and a paid parking. In the lobby area you find a vending machine as the hotel lobby is closed in the evening.

As it is a complete online check in and out procedure and I even wrote them if I was able to check in a bit earlier as my train arrives around noon time still this was not possible. I find this a bit disappointing as it completely rules out the early check in as a possible curtesy. Also I found the value of the first night a bit overpriced for what I got. In addition a couple of bottles of still water in the room would be a great way to greet the guests.

It was exactly what I expected from the photos, very cozy and romantic. The staff was always nice and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Erlangen or just looking for a little romantic break.

very pleasant hotel. For following days we moved to a larger room and it was also excellent. The first room had very thin curtains that did not cover the entire window. The manager quickly said this would be put right - if it had been summer this would have been a problem with too much light.

The pillows were terrible, floppy bags of synthetic fluff. We did complain (but only at the end of our stay) and were told they had a 'pillow menu' - but the standard pillow should already be acceptable. But this was a fairly minor issue in a lovely hotel. We were unaware that you had to use a QR code (not mentioned at checkin) to see all the options. The hotel uses codes for door and room entry which are sent by message for access (reception closes at 9pm). These can be a bit clunky, and not as straightforward as using a card key.
