The stay was very good. The staff is really pleasant and the location in very close distance to the center is beneficial when you decide to have a walk at the evening. We arrived very late 9 p.m. so the parking slot in front was full, but we got a parking slot in the garage, so it was very good as well. The rooms are very well cleaned... perfect for a good sleep. Very good mattresses and a super cleaned bathroom... I recommend this hotel for a stay...

At the next day we stood up late and went to the breakfast room. It is communicated that the breakfast ist up to 10:30 a.m. We got there at 09:45. But what should i say. It was the very first time i recognized in a hotel that all desks where full of dishes glasses which where already used by others. So i think at that day not enough staff where there. I felt uncompfortable. so but no problem we cleared a desk for us by ourself. But further more the breakfast was nearly empty. At that time there had been no bread available anymore. I got some nuernberger saussages and took some cheese with coffee... So i learn out of that experience, that i have to sand up earlier in the morning on my trips :D.... BUT hey! we came very late i accept that!

The hotel is very centrally located and is walking distance of most facilities. The rooms were recently modernised and were a really good size giving a luxury feel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was particularly well appointed. The public areas of the hotel were very pleasant and freshly decorated. The breakfast, served in the cellar was particularly good and was very varied. Erlangen is perfectly situated for Nuremberg and Bamberg which makes it a great location for visitors touring those beautiful Bavarian Cities with good transport links.

There was nothing not to like.

Helpful and polite staff, at the reception and in the restautant. Free water, croissants and candies upon arrival. Impressive room, bed couldn’t be more comfortable. Big room, equipped so it doesn’t feel like a hotel but rather as at home, only better:) Spacious bathroom, super clean and with everything one needs. Breakfast superior, selected foods, fresh, anything you wish for. Even German and English newspapers available for free. Breakfast and check out later than it is the norm, very guest friendly. Central location, next to everything but on the other hand so calm and quiet.

Cannot think of anything, really.

It is a very comfortable hotel, it is evident that the management has put a lot of thought into making the guests' stay more comfortable, lots of attention to detail. The room was spacious with everything I needed and more.

Very little room for improvement, so a bit of nitpicking here. Automated lighting has its advantages, but you can overdo it, e.g. when you no longer can turn off the bathroom lights manually. Also, lighting in the breakfast room could have been better. Otherwise perfect.

Only one thing: the electrical setup in the room is a bit weird, with a motion sensor to switch the light in the bathroom, which in our case did not really work. Since the lights also went ON randomly in the night, we finally pulled the keycard and switched off everything. This is a bit silly, since we would have liked to charge devices during the night. The bathroom needs a conventional light switch to avoid this nonsense.

The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice and plentiful.

The receptionist were rather confused from our reservations, yet they played it on an arrogant note. Not the nicest check in. We went to bed very late and they started vacuum cleaning the corridors right in front of our rooms around 7:30. Automatic lights in the bathroom are a bit too much. Why? Especially with the glass transparent doors :-)

Location is great, walking distance from a big shopping mall, the city center and really nice dinner places. Furthermore, there is a huge selection at breakfast and the staff there are very accommodating. There is airconditioning which was nice during our hot stay.

The staff at the reception weren’t very welcoming, the staff in the restaurant were great though! So maybe the people at the reception were having a bad day.

The Hotel Bayrischer Hof Erlangen is in good shape, close to the city but still provides enough parking slots for the ones, coming with their own car. The rooms are big, have a balcony and with the aircondition are very comfortable these days (hot summer). The breakfast is extraordinary, even with a cook, preparing your breakfast. But the best was the price for this room that was more than just reasonable. Very good deal!

Breakfast was not my favorite. I felt that some more fresh items such as fruit would have been greatly appreciated. There was a young man working in the kitchen room during our visit who was very kind and engaging with two rather rambunctious little girls accompanied their grandparents. I wish I got his name he was a gem!

The hotel combines the typical Bavarian style with modern facilities. It is centrally located, so, there are many shops, restaurants, and bus stops near the hotel. The room was not large, but very comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the automatic light in the bathroom. Excellent breakfast, nice staff. My stay was very pleasant.
