Beforehand I was doubtful about a digital check in, but it was all very straightforward and easy. The hotel room was lovely - a good size, comfortable, nicely furnished/decorated, and had everything we needed, including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast (in the restaurant directly opposite) was great. Parking in the streets around the hotel was plentiful, and because we were there at the weekend, free. If you’re travelling by car, the Kepos is a great place to stay for visiting Nuremberg, Bamberg and Coburg. We were really sorry only to be staying overnight. I’d definitely recommend the Kepos and stay there again.

Amazing Hotel. Location is perfect. Rooms are super nice with much love for the details. They thought of everything. Design is unique. I didn't feel so well in a hotel for long time although I stayed in some 5 star hotels. Breakfast is very good in terms of quality and variety. I was a bit worried about the full automatic check-in and door open but it was smooth with 0 problems for my whole stay. Big thanks and congrats for the exquisite taste

The hotel is lovely and comfortable, easy to access. the rooms where nice the size was also good. it had a very nice small garden inside and also a small kitchen where a coffee machine was available. Also Iron was available in the room.

I think cleanliness should be improved, the first room I had for 1 night only and it was very clean. But the second room I had for the rest of my stay was different. there were some dusty areas. For example, the wardrobe from the inside was a bit dusty and more importantly I had to write a letter to the staff to clean the toilet properly because it had a yellow stain. Also in both rooms, In the shower water was not draining properly and would accumulate.

I really liked the prompt communication and the electrified locking system of all doors. Just don't forget the smartphone on the other side of the door 😀 The room was prety, nice and clean, bed was very comfortable, curtain could very well shield the light from street lamp just in the front of the room window. And the fridge was a big bonus.

Little bit small room, I would prefer to know it in advance, one needs to ventilate the room more often. Just some suggestions for improvement, but I do not consider these significant: - I would also prefer some drinks for free suitable for pregnant. Not black and green tee or coffee, but cocoa from machine (was out of order) or e.g. mint or camomilla tea in the room. - Try to repair small damages sooner than they begin to be biger problem - thing that got damaged (little broken piece on a sink; water passing too slowly from shower floor) - Prevent damage of things by better placement (quick curtain pulling towards the bed lamp can cause lamp to be broken, or tea spilling tea pot can cause things wet and dirty)

Great self-check-in and checkout experience - no need to wait or speak to anyone. Your room is ready and you just check-in via your mobile. The rooms are clean and well-designed. There is an espresso bar (self-service) where you can get different coffee drinks, tea, or spirits. Near the place, there is a bakery, park and it is just 10 min walk from the central rail station and bus station. Erlangen is a must visit place. If I go to Nuremberg in the feature, I would probably stay in Erlangen again. It is much calmer, cleaner and nicer place.

This is an exceptional experience in a beautiful old town of Erlangen. The Kepos hotel has a digital reception. The check in process was amazingly straight forward . The bar was fully loaded. The rooms were designed very tastefully. Loved the morning breakfast. The freshly cooked Menemen with nice sour bread and carrot juice were simply unforgettable.

The check out time should be 12 at least.

Really cool concept. Completely self check in and you use your phone as a digital key. My room was clean and spacious. The sauna area was great too.

If you’re not technically inclined you might struggle with all the “digital stuff”. That being said, there is an option to get a physical key. I would have given the hotel 10/10, but the water was cold. Seems the boiler was broken.

Great location and facilities at the hotel. Very nice outside area with a self-service bar (with free coffee). Spacious rooms and the owner was very kind. We tried their restaurant on the opposite side of the hotel, very tasty tapas for a fair price.

Very clean, chic bed and bedding that you don't want to part with))) Wonderful spacious bathroom. Compact but comfortable kitchen, which has everything you need, as well as stylish utensils. I was surprised by the teapot in modern style)) A pleasant and unexpected bonus is an electric steamer for clothes. It's just wow!! The city center is a 15 minute walk. Thanks you!

The Kepos Hotel Erlangen is a very nice hotel, very clean with friendly staff. The room was nice, and the facilities like sauna and coffee bar are convenient and well maintained. Also, we were concerned since there is no reception but the digital system worked - since someone was available at the restaurant across the street!

When I called the hotel beforehand with concerns reg. the 'digital reception', the lady on the phone was very uninterested in my concerns - however, everything worked out well.
