We rented the x-large apartment (to celebrate our last day on our Ostsee bike tour). It was a very well-equipped, newly renovated, and nicely furnished two-bedroom apartment with all of the modern conveniences needed (wifi was strong). It also had a very nice balcony for relaxing, drinking your coffee, or eating breakfast. Equally important, it was just a few meters from the center of the old town. Finally, the staff is very accommodating and helpful. They found my son's watch after we left (contacted us) and are mailing it back to us. On a personal note, I also appreciated the "philosophical" quotes on each floor by various German and American writers about the meaning of life.

No complaints. I highly recommend it.

On the positive side, the apartment was spacious and well-equipped. It had everything we needed: good kitchen utensils, comfortable beds, nice bedrooms, and a well-appointed bathroom.

However, the cleanliness of the apartment left much to be desired. The floors were unclean, the sofa and carpets were dirty, and the balcony was in poor condition. We arrived on January 2nd, right after New Year’s celebrations, and it was clear that the apartment had not been properly cleaned. There was a strong smell of spoiled food, sparklers and ashes were left on the balcony, and we found trash on the carpet and a dirty floor. This was especially disappointing because we were traveling with our one-year-old child, and cleanliness is critical when you have a baby. While the apartment itself was nice, the lack of proper cleaning overshadowed our experience. We hope the management takes steps to ensure better preparation of the apartments for future guests.

The Green was comfortable and it was very useful to have a kitchen area so we could prepare breakfast and light meals. It was well positioned, close to the Neuemarkt and on the edge of the old town. We had a great welcome from staff and lots of information to help our stay. We paid a tourist tax on arrival but received a guest pass in return which covered our transport in the Rostock area throughout our stay

A microwave in the kitchen area would have been useful

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Beautiful hotel in the heart of Rostock old town. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, every facility catered for all travellers. Our bikes were securely stored in their garage. All staff friendly and helpful. Location is close to all tourist delights including the magnificent Rathaus. Very good value hotel and can highly recommend.

Excellent location, modern, fully equipped apartment including kitchen and other electrical appliances, cute living room and large TV screen, as close as you can get to the city center. A 3-minute walk from the train station and the city square, wow, I would love to come back.

The previous guest or guests had apparently smoked in the bedroom and the bedding smelled of smoking. I am sensitive to this so it bothered me a little.

The apartment had everything we could need, and was very comfortable and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is located in the city centre, close to tram and bus stops. Tourist tax (paid on arrival), provides free access on all public transport.

We were here for Hansa Sail 25 so room rates were very expensive - but to be expected for an event like this.

It’s perfectly situated within easy walking distance to the city centre. An ideal location for exploring. All the facilities in the apartment were superb, a very well appointed kitchen, the bed was super comfy and the shower excellent. Everything was of a very high standard. Couldn’t want for more.

Our go to accommodation when in Rostock, this is our 3rd stay. Position, position, position, perfectly located in the Aldstadt, convenient for public transport and an easy 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Nicely furnished and cosy brand new studio apartment. All materials and facilities were of high quality and everything was very clean. Located on a small street in old town with just a very short walking distance to city center. Several tram lines stop nearby (Neuer Markt) for travel to other parts of the city. Comfortable bed with two blankets. Good curtains to make the room dark even at daytime. Convenient garage for keeping a car (paid separately). The smallest apartment size "Smart Apartment" was adequate for two people for two nights' stay but would have felt a bit cramped for longer stay and thus I would recommend choosing "Medium" or "Large" apartment in that case.

Air conditioning would have been beneficial as the room was a bit warm during summer weather. Some noise and occasional cigarette smell from the street outside when keeping the window open (however when keeping the window closed there was no noise as the window has good insulation).

The room is really big and clean, and has almost everything you might need. A parking lot is available and the staff is very helpful. The location is superb, around 1 min walking from the city center and all city sights. The nice floor heating is something you would really appreciate during winter season :)

The floor in the shower is kind of a little crooked and water creeps over the whole bathroom floor. We also didn’t have a corkscrew among cutlery to open a wine bottle.
