Friendly and helpful staff, facilities such as kettle, water and safe box, big tv, clean and presentable room, coffee machine and simple games at the reception, bike rental for free. Near to the pier where one can relax and watch sunset, great amenities like 2x supermarkets, departmental store and eateries within 100m. Free parking if u are driving. There are so many good reasons to stay in arthotel...u will never regret it.

New, modern hotel. Clean room, modern, with all needed inside. Pleasant service, great breakfast, nice people working in. Location was also good, bit far from the old town but near the water. We walked on the coast, to the old town, around 2 km, you can rent a bicycle also. Really nice overall. Free coffee and some game tables, a great place for a family with kids like us. A big dining area where we had breakfast, also space for chilling out after visiting the city. Good connection with trams, 10 stations from the main station, we came from Berlin, 2,30 hours ride with regional train RE5.

We stayed at Arthotel ANA Amber 6 days. We really liked location of the hotel - closed to city center, port, S-bahn and Neptun shopping centre. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is presented as Arthotel but do not expect anything special or artistic in the hotel. It is regular german business hotel; nothing very fancy. The hotel has a limited number of parking spaces below (€15/day) or you can try to find free parking in the streets nearby (just be careful in the Neptun shopping centre - there are cameras watching the 2-hour parking limit). The hotel is presented as an art hotel, but do not expect anything special or artistic. It is a regular German business hotel; nothing really artistic or fancy (at least compared to e.g. Lisbon Art Stay Apartments Baixa).

There is no fridge in the room (well, no fridge or minibar is promised on Booking.com, but we were a bit surprised that it was missing). The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too big for us. There were 4 large pillows; we would prefer 2 less thick ones) Wifi was realiable but the speed was limited to 10Mb down / 5Mb up only.

Great breakfast - children under 12 are free of charge. The location is also great - 3 min from the tram stop, about 10-15 min from S-Bahn where you can take a 30-40 min train to Warenmünde to the seaside. The trading center with supermarkets, fast food, and pharmacy is right in front of the hotel. And you can get free of charge coffee/tea/milk at the reception at any time of the day! Bike rent is also available, no fee, but you need to book it a bit in advance. Stuff is always friendly and ready to help.

We stayed for 10 days and our towels or bedsheets were not changed. I'm not sure if I should have asked for that - I just had an expectation that they should be changed once per week, I might be wrong though. I also missed a rack or more hooks in the bathroom to dry the towels.

i thought the internet ran okay myself, but the other people i was with had a bad experience with it not working one night or being absorbently slow, for it being called, high-speed internet. it could've been worse but was okay.

A modern no-frills hotel, you still have everything you need at a half the cost of a 'frills' hotel. Staff are super friendly and easy going. Instead of a coffee machine in each room, you can get as much tea and yummy coffees as you want near the reception/ games/chill-out area. We didn't have time to try breakfast but it looked really good.

It's on a main street, so you can't keep a window open when sleeping, but there's very solid windows and air-conditioning and that worked perfectly.

Modern comfortable hotel, in a convenient location, easy to reach with public transit. Comfortable bed, nice room. Tasty breakfast with good amount of options, interesting common area.

Light switch setup near bed. Initial weird smell in bathroom (could be from cleaning product) which disappeared after leaving the bathroom door open for a while.

Great little hotel close to the water with a few little extras such as free coffee and tea, a lounge area to hang out in, some games. Excellent breakfast with very many options, comfortable rooms with everything one would need.

Parking in the area is surprisingly difficult. It’s an extra €15 to park on the property.

The room was very nice, comfortable and bright. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff was very attentive and friendly during our stay. The location is good, a few meters from the city's port, where there are several restaurants. The breakfast was also good, with everything you need to start the day. The staff provided my wife with gluten free bread every day we stayed. It is a plus that they offer free coffee at the reception!

Evething was excellent. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The facilieties offered like security boxes and hot drinks were really appreciated.

I do not have any complains about the place. If I could recommend something, probably the breafast costs could be lower. It is a little costly.
