Our room was spacious and had a newly renovated bathroom. We found a fan in the wardrobe which was much appreciated as it was a warm day/evening. Being able to park over the road was very convenient. We decided to eat in the restaurant in the evening and were very impressed with the meal and the staff. There was a very good selection of food at the breakfast buffet and once again the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again if I returned to the area.

Nice parking area next to the hotel, pleasant staff, generous meals, breakfast buffet with lots of choices, convenient location, would probably visit again...

Surprisingly, couldn't find anyone on staff who could speak English or French. Luckily my son knew some German. The rooms were not well insulated. A guy coughed next door to my son's room. He had the impression the guy was in his room! The curtains were not opaque and we had light from the shutterless window the whole night.

Big room and renovated bathroom. In walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast. Very clean.

The curtains didn't keep the daylight out. Traffic noise from the street if you keep the window open. No fridge in the room.

I was using for business trip and I think it's a good place to stay if your visiting Saarlouis or the region near Luxembourg. The town is very nice, for 35000 people I think it's a very nice town, you find the essence of German/french small towns in Saarlouis. I liked that the manager spoke English and had patience and was very polite and very helpful. I liked that the rooms had eco friendly lightsbulbs. I liked that it was clean It had free parking I liked the breakfast

Excellent location close to the centre. Recently refurbished room had superb double glazing, so no extraneous noise at all despite the proximity to the road. Close enough to the motorway to enable swift onward travel. Great food, both in the restaurant in the evening as well as a very good breakfast. Overall, an extremely good hotel.

It was a great place they are not used to English but they are accommodating,we struggled understanding the menu but watched the dishes coming out to other diners. The restaurant was full and our choices proved excellent

Perfect for traveling as it is close to major roads. Good restaurant and beer bar decently priced . The stake was nice and tender.

it's close to a roundabout, but the windows were sound proof. However, after a 10 hours drive and a good beer I fell asleep straight away and no sounds bothered me at all.

Fantastic restaurant with great, genuine Saarland food and Saarland beer. Extremely convenient location on the edge of the Saarland's premier party town, but also quiet. Great choice of breakfast food including a fried egg on request.

Our comfy room with its brown/wooden colour and dark pine ceiling cladding was not like the "white" room in the photo. It seemed as though various generations of hoteliers had added their own little bit to the decor - say an avocado bathroom suite, a picture of a young woman bathing, a ceiling light hanging down to where you'd hit your head on it, overheating bedroom lamp, a flat screen television replacing what from the undisguised drill holes, had been a CRT, no bedside electric sockets for our phones.... but given how good the restaurant is we put this down as "quirky".

It was a Sunday and there were no staff so had to call and arrange things by phone but it wasn't a problem. . Restaurant was closed.

Very nice staff, accommodating considering I arrived way latter than was supposed to, passed midnight. Good breakfast. I had a nice room, clean and comfortable.
