We had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel! The cleanness was impeccable, the vibe was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind if you are looking for a tranquil escape. The location was absolutely beautiful offering a peaceful retreat with stunning surroundings.

It is important to note that it is quite remote if you don’t have a car! As the bus service is limited. Additionally, there’s no market nearby.

The location of the hotel, the hotel staff were very friendly and polite. We were on holidays to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and had requested for a birthday cake… They set the table for us with flowers, wine and of course the cake, and they gave my husband a sweet birthday card… Really appreciate all their efforts 😊… The food at the restaurant was also very very good… All in all a great place to be in ❤️

The rooms should have an electric kettle, and the bathroom was too small. But the bed was very comfortable, we slept well 😊

It was overall great, the hospitality, the breakfast, the sauna, the location!

My partner has height 1,95 and found the bed too short for him and for people 1,90+ especially because there is wood at the end blocking the feet. For me everything was perfect :)

Lovely hotel on the Malerweg. Comfortable and clean rooms with lovely balconies. The breakfast was very good and the staff kept the food on the buffet coming. There is a sauna but we didn't have time to use it as we were walking and needed to go out to eat. There is a restaurant on site but we wanted to try elsewhere.

Everything was very good! Kind reception, the room was big and clean, and breakfast was delicious. We spend only one night but if we can return we will go back to this place. The three saunas are an extra added advantage. The bed was really comfortable!

There was no electric kettle in the room, but as I discovered it is a standard for German and Austria's hotels. It is nice to drink hot tea after long trip in the mountains :)

there is wellness’s facilities but no towels/bath robes provided for guest, missing tea/coffee facilities in the room. also no info about saxony Swiss / surroundings or hotel in English for no German speaking guests

The family room was outstanding. Feel it’s a lot better than the other rooms.

The rest of the hotel is pretty standard.

I felt welcomed, which happens rare. It’s a cozy place with old-fashioned interiors and a good restaurant. I enjoyed an infrared sauna as well.

Location close to Koenigstein (30-40min forest walk to Elbe river) , nice and quiet surroundings, very good breakfasts, Overall the hotel complex with garden is a nice place to stay

Nearby room window facing our terrace was a discomfort. The wooden terrace would require a renovation.
