The hotel is in an old building, but the rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Location is great and it takes around 10 minutes to walk to the castle. The train station is of a similar walking distance, and there is a tram stop close by to go to the city center.

WiFi is not so stable; TV is quite old. But they both work. The reception and rooms can be separated by a yard with cobblestones, which is not the most friendly with suitcases. Our room was on the ground floor and it felt a bit damp.

Spacious room and en suite with everything you need even an electric fan - which was needed. Good location - just a hundred yards to the old town, the same to the castle. Very helpful allowing us to park in the hotel courtyard for a few Euros. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed.

There was nothing I didn't like. I'd stay there again.

The location is perfect, the breakfast ok, nothing too much and the room needs more power plugs.

There was only one power plug available and far away from the bed. I always remark that having a water kettle makes an important upgrade and sadly here there is none.

Great location in the town centre, close to restaurants, shops and main attractions. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were really kind and helpful throughout our stay, facilitating early check in and storing our luggage upon check out. Very quiet location and safe area.

Breakfast could have been a little more varied, with more fresh fruit and sweet pastries. Overall great value for money!

A well located hotel close to the shopping areas and the historical centre. And I could see the castle (Schloss) from my window towards the court yard high up in the hotel! :) But I think that most guests won't see it (the hotel is situated too far away and with too many buildings in-between). But this is of minor importance. Good carpark next to the hotel.

great location so close to the castle and town centre. Lovely old building but nice modernised room. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Had to park in the overflow car park at the back which while conveniently located was rocky and sandy so don’t try to wheel your suitcases, the wheels might be ruined.

I was surprised to see I got a huge double room. I had enough room to dance if I wanted to.

I'm not a fan of carpeted floors.

Quiet location in the city center. Welcoming and helpful staff. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable, and a good size bathtub which we enjoyed a lot.

Excellent location 7 minutes from Schwerin Schloss. It is also close to beautiful old city and museums. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is convenient. Great place to stay in Schwerin.
