Wonderful accommodation, very comfortable, clean, recently fully renovated.

We faced a serious problem with the self-check-in system at the property. Initially, it took us 20 minutes to open the main door of the property, then we had a problem getting into one of the three rooms we had booked, which we resolved with a 15-minute phone call with the owner. Also, the second of the three rooms had not been cleaned and we spent additional time getting another one. It should be noted the immediacy and service of the owner during our telephone communication.

Location, comfort, cleanliness all ver good

The digital check- in system is a disaster. The codes for opening rooms did not work And so had to call the emergency phone. The girl who helped us was very good and helpful and patient, but the system has to improve for us to use the hotel again. Surely it is not too much to have someone on site at check-times. The present system tries the patience and time of your. Guests. We wee not the only ones to have trouble getting into their room.

The breakfast was excellent and the place was charming

There is no reception and the code to the front door and the room is sent via mail at 16 cet. It would be more convenient to receive an SMS with this information. It would have been nice to know that there is no parking next to the hotel. The public parking lot mentioned in the guestbook in the app is approximately 150-200 metres away.

extremely friendly and helpful staff, cozy old building with lovely interiors, free self-service wine tasting from the fridge on the terrace, great choice of breakfasts (gluten free bread was excellent). Everyone from the receptionist to the waitress was smiling and spreading good mood. you can buy wine and sekt from the family's own production. highly recommended

the old walls and wooden floors are not soundproof. Staff has placed several "quiet please" signs in the corridor, however it was hard to fall asleep, as the neighbors were completely ignoring it and being loud in and outside the room. We hat to call out to them and ask them to be quiet, which felt a bit annoying. I reckon, staff has not much chances to prevent that, as the reception isn't manned overnight. Maybe ear plugs will help next time

A very cosy place with really lovely staff. The breakfast was excellent. Communication with the staff was good from the start. Sommerhausen is a pittoresk place to stay and there are a lot of restaurants close by. We only stayed one night but it would have been lovely to stay longer and explore the surroundings.

If you have a lot of luggage or you have trouble taking the stairs getting to the room might be a bit difficult since there is no lift.

The town was absolutely stunning, a wonderful surprise. An honesty bar with white wine and soft drinks is there to welcome you on a nice terrace and garden. The host professional, kind and attentive. The historical characteristic hotel is beautiful and breakfast very good. Hope to be back soon

The old floor is inevitably noisy

The hotel is a beautiful gem in a little town. Nadia, the young woman in the reception, was very nice and kind and provided all the information we needed about the area. It is a family owned hotel that has a special ambiance and lovely, cozy decor. If you are in the area, I highly recommend staying there.

Ambience, beautiful terrace & garden with various areas to lounge, lovely breakfast in comfy, nice, bright, lovely decorated areas, super nice staff.

Rooms face adjacent cafe/restaurant courtyard which is busy from afternoon till 22.00 hrs. which means resting/staying in your room to relax is not an option due to the noise. However, we would return here as all was just wonderful.

Nice and comfortable. Staffs are friendly and communicative. We got free nice tea in the morning. The town itself is very nice, old, and rich of wine.

The location is in the middle of a small town. It is difficult to drop the luggage and look for a parking as the roads are narrow.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location! Reception were amazing, so friendly! Comfortable, clean room, very well prepared. Would highly recommend!
