This hotel is located next to the port of Stade, overlooking the canal of the river Schwinge that surrounds the city. The location is great and the view is also wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spartan, but absolutely functional. The bed was very comfortable - I slept well :) The bathroom was fully equipped and functional. There are parking spots available, but as I arrived quite late, these were all occupied. Many thanks to the hotel management that allows guests to park in the parking lot next to the hotel's parking, without having to pay the cost! Breakfast was tasty. I also received a discount coupon to use at a nearby bar-restaurant, but was not able to use it, because of lack of time. May be next time!

The room was unfortunately cold for my taste. I had to use an extra blanket to get to my preferred sleeping temperature

Nice location, easy parking, great beds in rooms! Flexible to get us dinner even though we arrived much later than expected!

A bit difficult about some details -- like storing baggage whist we explore Stade for an hour. Note we travel with four open-top classic cars, thus safe storage in car is impossible. Dinner was strange -- we had to make a reservation but there was NO ONE there at 8 pm ??

Everything except first day´s breakfast. The hotel is very well located to explore Stade.

The breakfast crew was a bit overwhelmed on the first day, first scrambled eggs where missing, when those arrived there were no more plates... On the second day it seemed to work much better.

We liked the location and how comfortable and clean it was.

There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room you have to pay extra to get it from a machine in the hallway.

Easy arrival and check-in with free parking on-site. Great location, directly across from the entry to the old town. Excellent breakfast in large dining room. Very clean, high-quality building.

Breakfast was varied and tasty. Our room looked westwards onto the harbour, that cost extra, but was worth it. Coffee capsules and tea in the room. Cafés, restaurants and cinema complex nearby. E-bikes for hire in the lobby (I think)

The loud deaerator in the bathroom went into action with switching on the light and ran for about seven minutes after switching it off. The towels were changed every day. The railway station is reachable on foot but it's a bit of a walk.

Super location by the quay in Stade. Clean big rooms with a nice view out over the channel. Close to restaurants in the city.
