The location right in the oldtown is great.

I was in the other building. My single room was on the groung floor and the whole corridor stank of moisture and rot like an old basement. The room was tiny, barely could stand in it. The bathroom was dark and microscopic. The bed was hard. The window faced a street so couldn't keep it open because of people walking. The room was so small I would wake up with a headache do to no air. Before arriving I was informed by email there are two parking bays beside the hotel to unload the car. When I arrived I was told that no such thing exists. I had to move my car and then bring all my bags down cobbled street.

Spacious room with great shower, comfy bed with lovely linen.(i really loved the pillowe& duvet covers :) not your usual stiff white stuff, but lovely and soft organic cotton) Mini bar and kettle (tea and coffee). Close to the harbour/ Ozeaneum and lots of shops/restaurants. Awesome selection at breakfast if you eat everything. With bottled juices and a selection of milks. Lots of cereals, spreads, cheese and cold meats, eggs, pancakes ... .. (As a vegan it's ok but expensive for the little you will eat compared to others. There are two great local cafes with amazing vegan dishes around the corner tho ;-) unfortunately not open Mondays tho

Not sure how you'll know which of the two buildings your room is going to be in but we ended up staying at the nicer one (same building as reception, no bar downstairs)

Attentive staff, perfect location and everything you need for a nice and quiet stay.

There was some technical problem with my room (still don't know what was the problem) but they informed me day ahead that booked me stay at another hotel for the first night. Of course the room was bigger which was nice but I had to pack again in the morning and leave my luggage at Amber Altstadt until I was able to check-in again. So that is a few hours without accomodation which is not ideal. Also the other hotel made me pay the city tax - I guess I paid it twice then. Nevertheless I am happy that the hotel found a solution for the technical problem. So overall I definitely recommend it.

Location was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was clean, fresh, well organised, well laid out and the gluten free options clearly marked and kept clear of cross contamination. Rooms were nice and spacious and kept very clean. The beds were comfortable, pillows and blankets were of high quality.

We booked the last room available which was a disability access room and unfortunately without a window to outside. We were happy with the de-humidifiers in the room to make up for it.

Our room was in a new building of the hotel, everything is new and well organised. The room is quite big, as well as the bathroom, furniture and bed are comfortable. The breakfast was served with a variety of ham, cheese and bread. It also included meatballs and scrambled eggs, as well as pancakes:)) selection of jam and juice was also included. Hotel is located near the harbour in a walking distance from all the attractions of Stralsund. Personnel was very helpful in all requests, and it’s worth noting that every person was willing to help:))

Cleaning is done only once per 4 days of staying.. I’d suggest every 3 days at least.

There was a lift and our room was quiet. Fabulous shower with built-in cubby holes for holding things. The location was very handy for the seafront and for the Old Town. There was also a bus stop nearby.

It felt very warm at night, despite having the windows open and the temperature down. It would have been good to have information on arrival about the town. There could also have been more coffee sachets in the room

There are two buildings. We were looking forward to staying in the original building, but instead we got a room in the newer building. It was huge! All modern construction and very clean and comfortable.

The only thing was that the shower didn't have a door. We had to be careful not to make a mess

Our stay was quite good. The facilities are new and neat, there was enough space in the room and the food was delicious. Personnel was friendly and helpful. The location in the heart of the city, close to main places of interest and parkings, makes it a right choice.

Guidance to the new building could be a bit more transparent. If the guide could simply say something like "100 meters up the street towards the Kütertor" instead of an address, it would help to understand the directions faster.

Very friendly staff and modern rooms. Mini fridge in the room.

Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The room was situated on the inside of the building and had no window to the outside. It had a big window but that had a view at the corridor of the hotel. Mattresses are very weak.

Excellent bathroom set-up, multiple hooks and a fun automatic light in mirror. Large functional room. Hotel is near a great coffee shop 30 secs away while the old city and harbour are 5 mins away. Highly recommended.
