Extremely peaceful location in small traditional German rural suburb, small town. Very quite, no any passing by or transit traffic, trucks, random passers by, the authentic German setting we read in old books. The Hotel itself looks like an old Forester's, Hunters etc house, you'll instantly feel the yourself immersed in a piece of history and German tranquillity. Super clean rooms, welcome mineral water, coffee, small fridge, restaurants nearby. Will definitely be coming back again.

What I didn't like is that there should be more places like this one, whilst travelling in or through Germany.)

Large room, good beds. While we didn't have an AC in the room during the week in mid-August, the room stayed cool during the night while the window was halfway open. Our 3-bed room had also a fridge, so a very nice touch for our stay.

Not really an issue, but we didn't manage to find the TV remote control.

I give 9/10 in general. Pet Friendly : They accept dog for 10 euros per day . Easy Parking : parking is really close (5 meters to the entrance) , FREE and you can always find a place even during holiday season. Super Staffs: Mr Marco Bohme and Mrs Jana Beyes , Miss HuanHuang who works in the reception are super nice , welcoming and helpful. King sized bed . City Tax is only 1 euro per person. we did not have breakfast but the beer is only 1.5 euro ( reasonable and good price ) location is great if you travel between Dresden and glashutte. to each destination only 25 km with car.

Wi-Fi is the only reason I give 9/10 instead of 10/10. slow or even disconnected sometime.

Amazing hotel with great facilities

No food, resteraunt was closed and wasn't even a vending machine or any other places to buy food there or in the town. Would stay again but only if they have food on site as too far away from any other place to go without food

Calm, cozy place to overnight. Has free parking. Late check-in possible

The breakfast, which is 12.50€ for person, is not worth it at all. We came to it 8am, there were 4 eggs, some bread which was all rotten. Do not recommend to buy breakfast here. Coffee is quite expensive for 12.50€, you cannot take anything more there.

Big room ,good environment

The towels are very old and have a strong detergent smell. The toilet paper holder is broken. The coffee maker and the kettle are not near the power outlet.

The room was nicely furnished and clean. Having complimentary water and coffee sachets was most welcome.

Having stairs at the entrance and no rump, made carrying suitcase laborious. Had to use the torch of our mobile in the Parking area since the area was in complete darkness.

Gorgeous location, really big room, massive windows that open really far which was needed on a hot day. Staff gave us some ice for our own drinks in the room.

Rooms are slightly dated but was clean and that’s all that matters

The cleanliness. Check-in possible until 21:00, and check-out till noon! In general it was quiet, but I think the reason for that is that there were not a lot of people staying at this moment because whenever somebody opened or closed the door of another room it made a lot of noise in my room, and I could also clearly hear the television from another room.

Sometimes a bit noisy from the corridor or from other rooms.

The hotel is very attractive, cosy and clean. Location is also good enough, only a few minutes from the entrance to the forest. The staff is very very friendly. Cosy quiet restaurant. Excellent place for romantic trips.

The bed: two narrow mattresses in an "extra-large double bed" instead of one large sometimes make a small discomfort.
