This is an authentic old german hotel. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the city center, just 30min on foot. Tram station, super markets, and eating options are 5-10 mins on foot. Our room was really nice, clean and bright. It offers everything necessary for a weekend stay. The owner is very nice and discreet. We arrived after check in hours and she made everything very easy and convenient for us.

Very helpful reception and overall support. For example during breakfast my son asked if they have cocoa drink - but only coffee or tea. Still we were asked if carb and warmed milk will do - which from kid perspective is the same as cocoa-drink :)

Beautiful area with beautiful houses.

Wifi was disconnecting every 15min or so and I had to provide my name and room number again and again. Super annoying. The smell in the bathroom was not very nice (probably because it is ok to smoke in the room and because of the rubber floor).

Excellent location in quiet 19th century residential area within easy reach of the city centre. My room was of a generous size with a large bathroom and comfortable sitting area. I arrived after normal reception hours but was given clear instructions about how to obtain my key. The breakfast buffet was adequate with a good selection of cooked meats.

The WiFi in my room did not work at all. If I wanted to check on public transport or tourist information I had to go downstairs to the reception area.
