The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful when needed. The carpark spaces are located at the back of the hotel and a few more at the front by the road. I was able to find a space for my car when I arrived. The hotel is clean and I liked the interior. There are some communal spaces if you want to relax elsewhere other than your room. The room was spacious with a good bathroom, a shower with great pressure and a TV with plenty of channels. This was a stop over for me so I found it very convenient not to have to drive into a city centre but still being within a 15 minute tram ride from the old town. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Very quiet on my floor with the occasional neighbour closing their doors but I didn't mind that as you expect it. The breakfast had plenty of choice and it's a nice big room with a 6.30am opening which is great for early risers. I would stay here again.

Two very small points. Adding music at breakfast would be nice otherwise everyone eats in silence, and I missed not having a kettle in the room but both of those points are very minor. It's a great hotel so I'd recommend a stay there.

A very comfortable hotel, near a large shop, in a quiet residential area. The receptionist (Michael) was exceptionally nice and helpful. Tram stop is just around the corner. Loved the large windows in the room. Comfortable bed and bathroom. A bit dated, but still very nice, welcoming hotel. Would stay here again, and hopefully will!

The small parking area which fills up very quickly. Underground car park is available, but rather pricey. There was only one barman at the bar, and poor guy was rushed off his feet. Trying to make drinks for the bar AND for the hotel restaurant, AND a separate lounge... way too much work for one person. Unfortunately no snacks were available at the bar.

The room was very nice and breakfast was great.

I asked to purchase a bottle of water after I arrived. The gentleman behind the desk was not very friendly and told me it costs $6.50 Euros for a bottle. I paid it because I didn’t have another option but believe that is outrageous for a bottle of water. The next day I bought two bottles of water and two beers at a store nearby for almost the same price.

Very good breakfast, so handy to tram/ bus station for trips into the city..Breakfast was excellent and front of house staff very friendly.

The pillows were so soft you hardly knew you had one. The restaurant staff member needs a lesson in smiling and customer service

A wonderful hotel in a residential suburb. Clean and cosy, staff were very friendly. Although not in the old city it was only 20 minutes by tram. Breakfast was varied and delicious. I really enjoyed my stay - more than met my needs. Highly recommended.

It was a very comfortable stay. The hotel is old but in good condition. Breakfast was brilliant with nice local food. When we arrived there was no space in the parking lot but we could park on the street.

It was cold in the room but after some time it was ok.

Good breakfast, big, comfortable beds. The hotel is not a new one, but everything is very well maintained, clean and working well.

The only problem was that we booked a double room and the bed was really two single beds put together and there was no "connector" to keep them together, so they were moving apart all the time.

upon our arrival we wanted to drink a draft beer, but the bartender said they are closing. Then 10 minutes later we saw he is tapping the beer for others.

Comfortable room. A bath! Truly excellent breakfast. Dog friendly but 15€.Location easy to find and able to walk along the river Elbe.
