Next to the park, quiet and beautiful location. Hotel lobby is very bright and spacious, lemon or orange flavored water available throughout the day. Breakfast buffet at €12 is good value, on-site restaurant is convenient as the hotel is a bit distance from the city center. There’s secure bike parking for rented bikes.

A bit dated, particularly the bathroom still reminiscent of former East Germany, which could also be part of the charm for some people.

Location right next to the park was lovely and all we needed was provided.

Whilst everything was in order, the hotel is a little dated - especially in terms of the bathrooms. The swimming pool and fitness times were a bit disappointing (only evenings during the week). 13€/day parking (outside, 15€ in the garage) seems steep. Pool disappointed as was rather cold and no other bathing options available (no hot tub etc).

It was all very good except the 2 points below:

1) Pool & Fitness room: 3 out of my 6 days there (full days) the facility was closed altogether (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). The other days open at certain restricted hours only and subject to staff availability and disposition in other areas. It's a pity and not understandable that the management doesn't make better use of such a great facility. 2) Personal safe (in-room safe) is a standard for such kind of hotel & room. However, there was no in-room safe.

•There was a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. •Very good breakfast (even though there was no fish-option as it was a 4* hotel). •Good price compared to other hotels in Weimar. •Old but clean. •Free pool. •The renovation was already old. •Billiard, bowling and sauna were not for free. •Far from the city centre. •🅿️=20€ per Day!

I was attracted by the location, in a residential area in front of the famous park an der Ilm which is a nice promenade to the city center. 20 to 30 minutes walk. The equipments are good (old style eighties in wood) and room is large. Bathroom with a bath. Excellent buffet for breakfast. Very good value for money.

The location is a bit far away from city centre. The furniture and decorations are outdated. The sauna needs 5 euros per person per day. We didn’t use it as it’s very expensive.

I Like it's name and theme. Also exterior and interior with entrance room and reception are very beautifull. Parking is reasonable priced and there is some offer of entertainment such as Pool and Bowling. Beds were very comfortable. And there is big choice of food for breakfast. I never saw it, but they have like a big thermost with hot chocolade. Just perfect. Best thing about stay is position. Right at the one of the entrances to the Park An Der Ilm, you can take a short walk to the city center and enjoy beautiful views.

We stayed only one night in Weimar. This place calls for more.

The breakfast was excellent - there was a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Rooms are very spacious and the long desks in the room provide a lot of working space. Bathrooms are spacious too. There is a snooker table in the lobby - cool entertainment.

There was no fridge or locker in our room. Hair conditioner could be provided for guests apart from the soap for hair/hands/body.

Very nice hotel ( A bit retro but adequate and clean). Nice and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Enough parking place for the bigger cars. We were satisfied.

We didn't have a problem but there was only a bathtub in the bathroom. It was a bit slippery in the shower, even though it was equipped with a non-slip. For older people this can be a problem.

Very nice hotel, spacious lobby with a lot of space for comfortable sitting, friendly staff speaking perfect English. Possibility to park outside or in the hotel garage for 15 euro per day, which is less expensive than garages in the city center (25 euro). Our room was very nice and quite, we did not hear anything. Very nice breakfast with many choices, especially over weekend. Slightly less choices on Monday, but still many varieties with very large fruit table. We needed an iron and someone brought it to our room with an ironing table. This hotel has really everything one needs for a nice short or long stay.

Our big bed consisted in 2 separate mattresses, which is normally fine, but they were not the same, one mattress was too soft, while the one from my husband was perfect. The bottom of the bathtub is not at the floor level, so it was a bit difficult for my husband who is 2,04m tall and whose head was touching the ceiling. The hotel is located 15min walking from the citycenter, which would give an amazing walk next or through the park, but it was raining the entire weekend, so walking was not nice at all.
