The owner who checked us in was very available and helpful. He also surprised us by upgrading our reservation free of charge! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The property's view of the schloss on the hill is stunning.

The only downside was being about a 15-minute walk from the city center, meaning we had to pay for a taxi to carry us and our luggage to the hotel. But the view was worth it!

The room was amazing, and the view of the castle & city center is breathtaking. Although I am not sure if you can get that view from other rooms, we've got the last available room from the host and it was splendid. The host is super nice and helpful. The breakfast is available at another location, which looks closer on the map, but you have to get to it. For us, it was reasonable to take breakfast somewhere in the city.

Lovely little apartment within walking distance of the Altstad and shops. Everything you need for a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent view of the Wernigerode Castle. Outside the apartment there is a small but cozy area where one can seat outside and enjoy the sunset, etc. The city center is about 15 mins walking distance. In the apartment one finds the basic essentials to cook a meal. The place is tastefully decorated. The check-in and check-out was uncomplicated. The lady who received us, was extremely professional, friendly, and provided us with some good tips of places to visit, etc.

1.) Bed: was extremely uncomfortable, which caused me some serious back problems, leading to a physical therapist visit. 2) Parking: small and challenging to maneuver the way out, if you have one of the apartments on top, like us. 3) Shower & Jacuzzi: There were no instructions as of how to use them. 4) Shades: no practical, big, and/or dark enough to keep the apartment dark and provide for a good night of sleep. Apart from those small issues, my son and I had a great time there.

I am not sure how to write this review because the place was extraordinary - but it wasn't what i booked. A couple of days before our trip we were told the the place we booked had to be changed. I didn't know what to expect but it was stunning. Modern, clean, moderately close to the city center. Super posh. I wish i could live there. They also had an outlet for our electric car. We had an amazing view of the city with the castle.

When walking back from the city center you had to climb a hill to get to the house and i am lazy - but seriously the place was AMAZING !!!

Super location, modern, fully equipped and certain to rent again in the future !

The owners are super nice and very helpful, they know the area very well, and help you plan your time. They are nice and flexible, we didn't have much contact as everything was as it should be, otherwise I'm sure they would fix any issue quickly and without problems. Would definitely go here again. Very silent area.

Would personally prefer different pillows, as the type can feel a bit hard. And a contact for the charger would be nice close to the bed.

The view on the Wernigerode Castle was stunning.

The bed was super squeaky. The bathroom was more than small and was lacking hooks or other options to hang towels and toiletries bags.
