Nice old hotel in the middle of Quedlinburg. Decent sized rooms. Nice and clean. A creaky old wooden framed bed adds to the charm, although there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room. Good buffet breakfast with lots of choices to suit all tastes. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The car park is located a short walk away from the hotel, so make sure to obtain the address if using a navi. We used the hotel address and found our way blocked by bollards. We had also planned to eat in the hotel restaurant on our last night, only to find it closed for a private function, which was a little disappointing.

Really comfortable hotel, located directly in the Old Town of Quedlinburg. The location was really amazing, as were the breakfast and the personell.

The only problematic part was the parking situation. Due to its great location, parking nearby can be challenging. The hotel has its own parking lot, but it can become crowded. Apart from that, we missed ammenities such as water boiler with tea/coffee in the room, and also the pillows weren't comfortable - they were rather way too soft.

Amazing hotel full of character, that was very clean, comfortable and direct on the centre.

It’s a shame it has not lifted, but understandable due to age of property as the stairs are very narrow and fairly steep, but please don’t let this put you off. Also the carpark is ~80meters away over some very cobbled streets, but then this is why you go to this hotel, so again please don’t let this put you off.

Room was all fresh pine pannelled with perfect furniture (we had a suite). Parking was free, a bit away from hotel, but staff was very friendly about carrying our luggage to our room. Location is amazing, right on town square, breakfast room facing the square from huge windows, breakfast was superb.

We had steep stairs to room, staff was very helpful. Internet may be sometimes flaky.

Check-in, and desk personnel very accommodating. Older building but that's part of the charm. Great location for their breakfast room and excellent breakfast! Personnel very accommodating!

Parking was absolutely abysmal. Nearest parking lot blocks and blocks away, since hotel is on a pedestrian zone. It would behoove the city to allow taxis to transfer passengers and luggage drop off privileges.

The breakfast was really nice. The hotel is in the middle of the town, easy to get around. The restaurant were fully booked on Saturday evening, but the staff managed to book us in, that was really good! The guy who worked on Sunday when we were checking was really nice. He was very helpful and spoke good English! We had a really nice and big room. Nice and newly renovated bathrooms!

We were living on the fourth floor, so it was a little hard to carry up the luggage as there are no lift!

Everything came together just perfectly. The location, the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, the varied, delicious breakfast in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Even the weather added the final touch of pleasant memories of the ancient city and the beautiful hotel in its very center. After a busy day, the sauna was very appropriate for restoring strength.

I had a cozy top floor room over courtyard. It was quiet and felt a little rustic, ie "authentic" for the area. Amazing cakes and pastries in the restaurant. Right in the heart of the central square; location hard to beat.

No bellman offered to assist and many stairs for older people to handle. I had to carry the heavy bags up for my 76 year old brother (I am 61).

Beautiful building, best location (middle of the square), good variety in breakfast, fair price/quality, offered coupons with discounts that could be used for restaurant/museum etc in the city, friendly staff.

My room was in the middle of the building and small, though it had windows, airconditioning would have made the air less dense.

We chose the new annexe because it has a lift. The room was large and comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective which was just as well because we were in a heatwave. The staff were friendly and helpful and the situation could not be bettered. The breakfast buffet was relatively simple but what was on offer was good quality. It pays to got to breakfast early because things tended to run out.

This is an observation, not a criticism. The hotel was not serving evening meals at that time and we did not realise that it can be difficult to get a table at weekends unless you book ahead. I don't know if this is the general rule in Germany or because Quedlinburg is so popular.
