I loved everything about this hotel . It was a lovely room with everything available that I needed. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful and is in a great location within the resort . I have stayed in the resort for a few years now in different hotels but because of the tranquility of this place I am going to look at staying here next time . I personally have no complaints whatsoever . I found myself a proper little gem . I travel alone and as a women on her own I felt safe and secure here which is very important for me . Looking forward to staying here again in the future 😀

There was nothing to dislike about this place . For me it was perfect

We had 2 rooms as a family of 8 they were kept next to each other. Room is bright and clean. Air conditioning was a bliss especially when weather was at 37c. This was included in the price we paid as well 😃 Family run hotel and each staff member is friendly and helpful. We had bother downloading mobile passes and asked reception if they could help and straighg away they gave me their email to send over to them, check it was all correct then took home to print out for us. Helped with booking transport also. This by far has to be one of the best hotels ive stayed in for how kind the owners are. We had to check out at 11am and our flight was at 8pm, they kindly let us use all facilities including the pool,changing room and showers. They also looked after our cases while we walked to the shops etc.The pool is clean and we loved it that we had it to ourselves most days. Please if you are looking for a hotel with staff you can trust please stay here you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the amazing week and hope to see you all again very soon 😁

I have stayed at Elpida Hotel in Zakynthos several times, and I always return because it is both convenient and pleasant, making it my top choice for accommodation in Zakynthos. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome and at home. The hotel is well-maintained, with a lovely pool area and great value for money. Have previously stayed at Elpida and was a great experience so didn’t think twice when booking again. Absolutely lovely owners Spyros and his Wife. Very friendly and chatty. Always said hello and asked how we were when passing. Couldn’t do enough for you. Room was very clean and tidy. Came in every day to clean. 2 female cleaners were fantastic. Always left our room spotless and smelling nice. Super friendly and warm towards us and my Autistic 3 year old daughter. I genuinely could not have had a more pleasant time. Will 100% look to book again purely on the great human experience from the staff, it was nice a peaceful and other guests were respectful. We were due to check out at 11am but our flights were not until 9pm. When we explored keeping our room on Spyros didn’t hesitate to allow us to remain in our room until we were ready to leave. Explained we could stay as long as we wanted, as our transfer to the airport was due 5:30pm. Such a stress free gesture. Where we didn’t have to worry about where we would go or where to keep our cases. Really appreciated the kind gesture. 10/10 very happy with our stay, lived up to the first occasion we stayed there. Can honestly say we will be back, perhaps 2026 as we already booked next year prior to going this time.

Would’ve been nice to have had their shop open as it was a little walk to the nearest shop for water etc, but understandably the hotel suffered a great deal during covid, but it was amazing to see the hotel was starting to find its feet again!

The hotel was really nice and the owners of the place where the absolute best! These people were super friendly helping us with anything we need any time we wanted it. Super clean aswell because there were cleaners everyday at the facility. We stayed for 4 days there as 5 people and all i can say is good things. I have read other reviews saying that there was no hot water, the people there were not nice etc but all i can say is that its fsr from the truth. Everything was just as we wanted it. Thank you for having us and we hope to see you again :)

Room was spotless,always hot water available,wifi reception in room worked perfectly,air con and safe were free of charge.Never used the pool whilst there but it looked very clean.our room was very spacious.Have stayed in many of the hotels in alikanas before as we been going 2-3 times per year for last 12 years and this is is top of the league for vfm.Werent being picked up for the airpory transfer until 1730 and the owner (Spiros) let us keep the room on free of charge until the last minute - we have already told him we'll be back next year

Wonderful little family run hotel. Spiros, who I guess you would call the 'manager' is the most helpful gentleman, The whole family work really hard to ensure anyone who stays at this hotel have the best holiday possible. The room was clean with regular linen & towel changes. The pool was clean, well maintained and good size children's pool Tip: if you would like a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together, just let them know ahead of your visit as they have some limited conversion kits available. At present the bar and shop are closed, but there's a bar and shop just a short walk away. Can't wait to go back in 2025!

Spacious room Clean Good to have dining furniture and a dressing table Effective Aircon Bathroom looks recently modernised (although typical greek style shower) Lots of hanging space Nice pool I liked that it was away from the main strip, but there are still some restaurants/bars very close by.

Could do with an insect screen on the bathroom window Shame there is no longer a pool bar/snacks and that area looks quite tired Mattress not that comfortable but pretty standard for Greece

Having been to Greece for many years we know we will facilities can be basic so know what to expect. Elpida is great value for money and host is very helpful and friendly. Pool very clean

Really hope they continue with getting Elpida back to how it used to be and get the bar and shop open again

The room we stayed in was exactly like advertised in the pictures. It was very spacious for a couple. Alikanas beach is excellent and very close by. All the staff was very friendly and polite. When we needed some info on the local nightlife, everyone was happy to guide us and gave us solid recommendations! Although our stay was short (3 nights), our room was cleaned once and we had a fresh set of towels, which was highly appreciated! We'll definitely choose Elpida again!
