The hotel is run by a lovely family, and the care and attention they pay to their guests stands out in comparison to other larger properties - it makes a difference! The apartments are surrounded by lovely gardens against a scrub hillside, so birds and butterflies were aplenty. The view is obviously stunning. Beds were comfy and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchen had everything you could need for a short stay. Added bonus was the mosquito screen on the balcony door - this allowed fresh air into the room but without being bitten - more apartments on the island could benefit from this!

The apartments are located uphill from the centre of town and the beach - the walk, especially in the summer heat, is not for those with mobility issues, and the shorter but steeper (non-road) option was a bit of an arduous task for two fairly fit 40-something year olds. The temperatures were however pushing 40 degrees with little/no breeze, so probably not so difficult if the westerly is blowing. Public bus transport to and from Agios Gordios is not very frequent, and stops downhill at the terminal bus stop, so speaking with the driver in advance to stop at the apartments instead, is recommended!! The onsite supermarket prices were a little steep for some things, but that is the case at most smaller supermarkets on the island - expect to pay more.

We stayed in Studio 16 and loved the stunning view from the terrace. The hosts were friendly and unobtrusive, and the studio was spotless, with regular towel and linen changes. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the basics. The pool, although small, was perfect for relaxing on days we didn’t go to the beach.

The furniture is older and has a slight smell, and the shower cabin is quite small. The on-site shop is a bit pricey, but that seems to be common in most stores in Agios Gordios.

The view from the balcony was out of this world – a perfect blend of mountains and sea. Sunrises and sunsets felt like something out of a fairy tale. The pool was just a few steps away, offering a stunning view as well. We visited in September, so it wasn’t crowded at all – it felt intimate, and at times we had the pool all to ourselves! There were also great facilities for children, including a shallow pool (50 cm deep), a swing, and a slide. Another bonus was the on-site mini-market, which made everything super convenient. The beach is about 500 meters away, but the walk is downhill, so make sure to bring comfortable sandals or flip-flops! A travel cot for children is available. The rooms were cleaned daily, in our opinion.

The coffee machine brewed coffee slowly, but we didn’t report the issue as it wasn’t a big deal.

We stayed 11 nights in early September, weather was still 33 deg C in the days & 25+ at night, so very thankful for the excellent air conditioning in no 15 (1st floor). We were welcomed and offered a drink right away on arrival 🙂 The studio was actually better equipped & bigger than we'd expected from the booking.com website photos, especially the balcony. Perfect for a couple, for a quiet stay, it was so, so quiet at night 😴 The shower was excellent too, as well as comfortable single beds. Maid service was excellent too, every second day and all you had to do was ask for anything extra to be done. The pool area was top class, clean, modern furniture, plus nice and quiet, no loud music like most places have nowadays. Sunbeds /sunshades always seemed to be available, no stress to be up super early 😁 The family have a little grocery shop on site which is very convenient! And, finally, the views from the balcony or pool area are stunning, day or night. You can hear the waves breaking in the sea too, which we loved and didn't expect when so high above the beach. Note the weather switched to autumn during our stay, so we witnessed the first thunderstorm (lightening too) of the season (after 5 months without rain!). There was very heavy rain one or two nights, but we were lucky that it didn't bother us, in fact it freshened/cleared the air, which felt very "heavy" the first 4-5 days. PS rent a small car, (if you are renting one), as parking is tight everywhere in Corfu, Mazis is no exception in that regard. Thanks again to the whole Mazis family for a perfect holiday 👏🌞

The Deluxe apartment was super clean and exactly as pictured. It was great to have the additional room available rather than being in a studio as we were staying for a week. The apartment is close enough to the shops and tavernas of Agios Gordios, without being disturbed by noise. Of course, you do have the steep walk back up the hill from the main area and the beach but this meant you get the amazing view and it's quieter. You have the little shop owned by the family which is good for some basic supplies, but more in town. Agios Gordios itself is a good spot for a week's beach holiday, with enough tavernas and bars to keep you interested. The Mazis family were all extremely helpful and friendly.

Spotlessly clean rooms, shared areas and pool area. Well maintained and Helena was very welcoming and informative. Great views from the room/balcony Steep walk from town but not too bad, walk down to the beach takes minutes only

The rooms are a bit 'old school' but still very functional, clean and well maintained. The hairdryer thing is pretty rubbish - maybe a decent hairdryer in the dressing table would be better.

The apartment and the garden is very nice and well-kept. The owner and her family is very helpful. The pool is pleasent, and the view is great. Although the way is steep, but not too far from the beach. The Clean Lady is very helpful and speaks english well. The apartment's supermarket is well-equipped. The village is still, and there are more different restaurants.

Sometimes the parking in the courtyard is difficult, there was not enogh space. In our apartment the furniture is quite old and impractic, there are no shelves for the clothes.

The views from the apartment were amazing. Hosts were lovely, welcomed us with drinks. The room was really clean and had an amazing view. The pool was clean and beautiful

The property was on the hill, and was around 10-15mins walk from the beach. The way back up is challenging if you have to walk.

Mazis Apartments are in a nice location. As they are on the hill, the view from here is amazing! Our apartment was nice, well equipped and clean. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was cleaned after 2 nights again. The pool was clean as well. Lady who welcomed us was also very nice and helpful. One big plus is a mini supermarket right next to the apartments. The road to the center of the village and the beach is quite steep and can be exhausting to walk there during the heat outside but we had a car so it was fine for us.

Wi-fi didn't work well.

Absolutely beautiful apartments! The views throughout the property are stunning, especially loved the pool area. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The studio apartment has good basic amenities and comfortable beds.

Only a minor detail! We thought we would benefit from darker, more black out curtains as it can be quite light in the morning and we always like a sleep in on holiday haha
