Heartfelt thanks for the wonderful hospitality of the team at Hotel Angelica! On the very first evening we were welcomed with a traditional Corfu program, including lovely dances and an incredible show! The attitude of the staff was so friendly and naturally cheerful that we quickly felt like we were among friends. The location is great—just 10 minutes to the beach, along the main street lined with little shops and places to try all sorts of delicious food. For us, as lovers of variety, within 30–40 minutes by car in any direction we found amazing beaches! Some with stones for diving and climbing, sand mixed with pebbles, and then fine, silky sand—so fine that we felt like characters in Dune (near the lake in the south). Of course, we also had a pool—spotlessly clean—for lazy afternoons. For us, this was our first holiday visit to the island, and we were very happy with it. An amazing (family-run) staff at Hotel Angelica, a nice and peaceful location, perfect weather, tasty food—what more could anyone ask for!

The hotel had a lovely outside bar that provided drinks and snacks, which you could request, having next to the pool. Breakfast had a nice spread.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and big. The beds were comfortable and our rooms got cleaned daily. I requested a mattress for my daughters bed settee, and they were happy to help. It was close to shops, bars, and restaurants.

The room was quite basic. There was only a hob and kettle, and it was advertised as a fully equipped kitchen. There was no microwave oven. The air conditioning was not very strong, and the balcony was tiny and tight. We paid 25 euros for the Greek night. On the poster, it was advertised as a buffet and bbq, but the food was bbq ed before hand and put on heat lamps. All the food was cold except the chicken and chips and the pork was chewy. Salad was nice, though. Some people had to clear their own tables, and sometimes we had to request drinks. We were put on big tables with strangers. It was our anniversary. The food was a letdown, but the entertainment was good. Think that's what we paid for.

Super friendly owners, amazing swimming pool and comfy loungers, quiet, relaxing, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and only 8 mins to the gorgeous beach, also loved the taverna and food they served, the service to the loungers by pressing a button was a great touch and made the stay feel more than 2 stars. Deluxe family room was always kept so clean by the fabulous cleaners and mattresses and pillows were very comfy as well as very good air con. The village itself is wonderful with lovely restaurants and shops and thankfully the hotel is near the bottom of the hill so only a little bit of hill to climb back up (but is steep so maybe not great for anyone with mobility issues) I absolutely cannot wait to come back and plan on doing so next year!

Could do with more self catering kitchen facilties like a bigger hob and an oven but as it is only a 2 star I expect this is why, also washing up liquid and sponges, other than that I really can't fault the place!

The breakfast is good, not much variety but it has have everything you need. I recommend having lunch. Room was large enough for a family of 3. Room was cleaned daily, fresh towels were provided each day. Pool was very nice, you can order drinks from the bar. Really great value for the money, i highly recommend this resort.

The hairdryer was not functional. It's nice to have drinks by the pool but they should be served in plastic cups, instead of glass. Glass breaks and you get glass pieces scattered all over the pool area, and that is dangerous. We did not like the beach area but that's not their fault. I like large sandy beaches and shallow waters and i discovered that Corfu is not for me. Overall Greece is as expensive as Spain. You spend around 80 euro for dinner, the same you spend in Barcelona or Valencia.

I loved the room we stayed in, it was bright and clean and had everything we needed. Had a gorgeous balcony, which was shaded and was a beautiful place to have a snack or meal without the sunshine. The pool area was so clean and we loved swimming in the gorgeous pool. The ample seating around the pool was comfortable and an added bonus, you can order for food and drinks from the seating. The location is perfect for visiting the town, beach and walks in the mountains

The hilly area may not suit those who have mobility difficulties.

I spent a week there. Good location a bit outside of the hustle and bustle. Friendly staff. Very clean. Sunbeds were always available. The pool was clean. Walking distance to the beach. Good snorkeling at the beach as there are some big rocks in the water.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare in the entire village as the place is cramped. Mosquitoes at night, wasps during the day but rather a nuisance than a problem.

Rooms were clean well equipped large and airy with good air con . Lovely pool and bar /restaurant area , owners and staff were friendly helpful and obliging . In a perfect location at top of Main Street leading down , around 5 minute walk to beachfront area , several small supermarkets and tavernas seconds away on foot . Lovely coffees , hot and iced from pool bar straight to your sunbed !

Nothing really, everything was nice. The room was a bit different than the photos, we thought there would be 3 beds plus a sofabed. Room seemed smaller and the 3rd bed wasnt there. Shower cabin was a bit tight. Some hooks on the wall would be nice, just to hang some clothes or a towel. Now we could only put them on 1 chair. And a bit of washing up liquid and a sponge would be a plus.

Great hotel with fantastic staff, good food, great service, and in a perfect location. Not too far uphill, short stroll to shops and beach approx 10 minute walk. Staff very accommodating & always smiling. Plenty of availability for sun loungers at the pool. Would definitely stay here again & no hesitation in recommending to others. Stayed as a family - no late night partying keeping us awake.

Peaceful location on a hill, but still very close to everything: supermarkets, restaurants, bus stop and the beach. Tidy room with a spacious balcony. The pool is nice for a quick dip as is the bar for a snack or drinks.

The kitchenette could be a bit more modern with a proper set of dishes and utensils. The hotel's location on a steep hill can be difficult for some guests.
