I stayed for 4 nights in a private apartment with its own terrace and a great jacuzzi overlooking Elounda – sparkling with lights at night and offering stunning sea, horizon, and sunrise views during the day. This is a warm, family-run place. The owner deserves a special mention – genuinely kind and attentive – as does his family and the restaurant staff. The room was cleaned daily, and there was a sweet welcome gift. I was travelling solo, but this place would be idyllic for two.

The only things I missed in the kitchen were a proper knife for fruit or cheese and a kitchen towel – everything else was perfect.

They didn't change the sheets and towels every three days as they had told us. We did tell them and again, no.. Maybe a better organisation is needed. And a little bit misunderstanding and disappointment regarding the parking which is public outside the hotel and there wasn't space to park our car one or two nights

We had the most amazing stay last week at the Adrakos Apartments. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. The location and views are spectacular, we booked the junior suite which has the added bonus of a fabulous terrace and jacuzzi. The maid came daily and it was spotlessly clean. The Terassa resturant is a particular highlight, Despina is absolutely lovely and felt like a friend by the end of the week! We hired a car so we could explore, however on the couple of evenings we didn't want to drive down the hill into Elounda town, we called a taxi which was very simple to do. There are also plenty available to bring you home and it was a flat fee of €10 each time. A few of my friends have already asked for details after seeing our photos and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these beautiful little boutique apartments to them (even though part of me wants to keep it as my own little secret place!) There wasn't anything I didn't dislike , the only comment here I could make is perhaps our room could do with some drawers? I had to keep anything that didn't hang up in my suitcase, but everything else was so lovely - this was a minor inconvenience.

Given its position which offers such amazing views, it is a little bit ‘remote’. What I mean by this is there’s nowhere nearby that’s walkable really. But, the nearest town is less than a 5 min drive. So worth the location for the view and the peacefulness for my money!

The view is unbelievably beautiful, truly a privilege to look at. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with a nice balcony to have breakfast in front of this wonderful view. We also appreciated the welcome gift with local products and the pool.

We were expecting some useful information as part of our check-in (is tap water safe to drink, should we not flush toilet paper, etc) and also some recommendations for activities or must-see attractions in the area. We would have liked better communication in English in general. Also, the bathroom in the room could really use some renovation or even simple upgrades: the shower was particularly uncomfortable (the showerhead can be easily changed at least) and not completely clean when we arrived.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Family run, friendly and quality caring service. We ate there one evening then decided to book two nights to experience it all fully. Lovely location on the edge of Elounda which is a great place, more low key, clean and friendly public beach, close to restaurants and nice shops. The hotel staff were really helpful and kind which simply made our stay !! Food is delicious and drinks esp cocktails 🍹 made with love. 💚 Will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff!!

Everything, the only tiny markdowns were, like most rooms everywhere, only one pillow. We didn’t ask, our fault. More a suggestion than a fault, a toaster in kitchen would open up many more warm snacks. MOST IMPORTANT was the incredible treatment by the friendly staff (and Manager/Owner?). I fell ill with an ongoing surgery problem on the 4th day and had to book a flight home 😞, cutting our 10 day vacation short. The Adrakos were fantastic in helping and offering a non deserved credit. Wonderful decent people ❤️

Nothing to dislike!

Staying at Adrakos Apartments in Elounda, is like entering a little bit of paradise. The rooms are cosy, the view spectacular, the breakfast is perfect, but the thing which makes the stay at Adrakos really stand out, are the owners, Anna and Kostas and their wonderful team. I have never had such a warm welcome at a hotel, had such interesting conversations with various staff members - and never felt so sad leaving my vacation-home. We will be back for sure! P.s. I recommend booking a room upstairs, for the view - and I also recommend having a car to be able to easily get around to the neighboring villages and lovely beaches.

The views were just wonderful, so spectacular and restorative. Our apartment 28 was spacious with a comfortable bed. I liked that there was plenty of wardrobe space too. The large patio with a sofa and little table a chairs to enjoy the views was much appreciated, Both morning and evening. The pool was a decent size, clean and quiet which suited us. Although the decor in our room was a little old fashioned, it was rustic, homely and very clean. Breakfast is good and plentiful, but the stars are staff and family who run Andrakos apartments and the amazing Terrassa restaurant. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Nothing to dislike - but a car is necessary to enjoy the area fully.

The apartments are beautiful and clean. The balcony overlooks the sea and the mountains creating an unbelievable view. Great value for money, couldn’t recommend it more. The restaurant was also super tasty. although it is more expensive then the other restaurants in the area, the difference in class totally makes up and justifies the price. The pool was also very clean and very fun to be at overlooking the incredible view.

We had a small problem with the AC. sometime it took a while until we managed to make it start working.
