Staff are so friendly and helpful. Service is exceptional. You cannot get a better buffet breakfast and dinner selection. Food is phenomenal. Beaches are clean, lots of sun beds available and there’s so many activities to choose from.

The main building is in need of an upgrade. Carpet in hallways is smelly and bubbled with wallpaper old. No complimentary water daily like many other 5 and less star hotels in Crete and drinks are at a high premium. Our room didn’t have an overhead shower hook so you had to hold the shower hose at all times to shower. Not a dealbreaker, but never seen that set up before.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful green surroundings, a nice sandy beach for kids, clear sea, very varied food for breakfast and dinner, and friendly, welcoming staff. Marvelous beaches, perfect food. Free sport activities. Staff is very friendly (dining room staff is lovely). Chose direct sea view. Side sea view is too "side".

- soft-boiled eggs need to be cooked a little longer;) - outdoor swimming pool could be opened earlier. Some people would like to swim before breakfast, not after. During the day people prefer swimming in the sea. Pool is necessary for keeping the body fit, before eating. - drinks in the beach bar could be better for the price

The resort is made of 2 hotels which are both great. Nice place, nice environment and many activities.

The rooms are big and clean but you can feel they are a bit old. Old electricity plugs, old equipments in the bathroom. The option to get breakfast and diners included is OK but be careful with the extras. Prices are too high. Charging 5 euros for a bottle of still water is way too much...

The hotel was amazing, the staff were polite and friendly, the facilities were plenty and very satisfactory. We got an upgrade to our standard room which was very much appreciated since we were given a very big room with huge bathroom and very big veranda overlooking the pool and the Bay. Our toodler had the chance to freely move around the room and play. The pools were excellent and the kids pool was amazing! Our kid loved the water snake and the slides very much!! The kids club is an excellent alternative for some hours in the heat of the summer. The buffet dinner at the restaurant had a huge variety with quality choices every night and although the hotel seemed pretty busy, yet it was so quiet and everything was in order.

The only minor thing that we noticed on the negative side were the high prices of the restaurants/bars of the hotel. E.g. for 2 coffees and 1 bottle of water we paid €18 at the pool bar. Knowing this, you can plan ahead.

We booked this hotel, but upon arrival we were told that we have been upgraded to Elounda Beach - their next-door sister hotel. Our stay there was everything we hoped for and beyond. The room was spacious with a wide balcony. The sandy beach with crystal clear water and perfect temperature. The restaurants with diverse and delicious food, coupled with great service. It was our only stay where we had a half-board but with diner at al a carte restaurants, including fine dining. We will definitely come back!

very helpful staff, no problem checking in and getting our room at noon. nice hotel beaches. short walk into Elounda town. bus stop close to hotel. excellent choice of food at breakfast and dinner.

room key cards stopped working twice which required multiple trips to reception to sort out. restaurant staff over-attentive at times eg rushing over if they saw us starting to pour our drinks. strange system for beach towels of keeping them in rooms and house keepers coming round at random times ( eg 10 pm, 9.30 am, midday) to change.

The location is absolutely fantastic - beautiful private sandy beach, two big swimming pools that we used (there was another one but we didn't use it). We had a suite with balcony which had the most fabulous views. Lovely big bathroom with jacuzzi bath, separate lounge and sofas. The breakfast and dinner choices were good (lovely fresh fruit and breads, salads, meats and fish and a plethora of deserts of every kind). Big terrace to enjoy the views and the little restaurant that was open for lunch was absolutely wonderful with fabulous Greek dishes and charming staff. In fact the staff across the board were amazing and simply could not do enough for you. I would especially mention the waitress Maria in the main restaurant and the pool attendant Maria, who was so attentive and made the best bloody mary's ever! We were also made very welcome when we arrived and taken to the room and found the concierge staff very helpful, polite and easy to talk to. Even the cleaners were polite and friendly. Great team at this hotel.

The sunbeds were tired and the mattresses need replacing. The sail bar, whilst a great location and amazing staff has very unusual and uncomfortable sofas and we didn't spend as much time in there as we would have liked. The a la carte dinner restaurant on the end of the pier was disappointing. It was expensive and the food was nowhere near as nice as the little lunchtime restaurant. We only went once, which was a shame as the location was fantastic. Finally, we struggled most days to get coffee pods and water brought to the room - which was a bit of a niggle but did not spoil things for us and was better the last couple of days.

1. at dinner the hotel charged 7 € (!) for a 0.7 l bottle of sparkling water! Wine not consummated could not be stored for the next evening. 2. No entertainment at evenings and no mingling among the guests may be due to the fact that prices for drinks are exorbitantly high

Great hotel. Perfect location, beautiful beach and nice pools. The food was very good, a lot of variety. The room was big (huge bath) and very clean, they change the towels and clean it twice a day. Very friendly staff.

There wasn't much to do in the evenings, the public areas were a bit "dead" and no music or atmosphere (besides the lady that plays the piano at dinner which was really nice). Also we didn't like the fact that there is no drinking water anywhere in the hotel and they charge you for water everywhere (including at dinner). And why no air conditioning in the gym...?!
