The owners have really thought about the needs of the modern guest. The hotel was spotless, the food tasty and the service exemplary. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were airy and cool. The bathroom was modern and clean. The few staff that worked there were obviously very experienced. Not once when putting purchases to the room did they need to ask our room name/number, they just knew. Nothing was any trouble and you really felt you were making their day letting them help you. I've done a bit of travelling over the years and you can usually find something to fault but I couldn't here.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Where to start? First thing you counter is the view. Amazing, no other words. Next thing, the staff: everyone is so nice and helpful, I felt very welcome. There's a sort of family feeling in the place, in the good sense of it. The room was exactly as in the pictures, very cozy and has a great sea vibe to it. And all the place's facilities are beautiful and convenient. And all in this pretty pretty setting. The food at dinner was really good, and the sweet breakfast prepared on the spot, with little homemade treats, was wonderful. Very much recommend.

The hotel was amazing, they are really guest focused which you could absolutely feel. Little things really made a difference like the cold water dispenser by the pool, the free laundry facilities with provided washing powder, a canvas bag to keep given on check-in to help with taking things you need from your room to the pool. The staff were also fantastic, helping to book trips for us and just lovely friendly people. The view was also stunning. I cannot recommend the hotel more - honestly it was truly lovely.

The walk back from town was VERY uphill. We did it every day, and were fine. Good to get a leg work out after a big dinner! But some people would find it a bit of a struggle. A taxi from town is only €6 back to the hotel though, so not too bad and I am sure if you needed a taxi into town the staff would help you get one sorted.

It was magical. The hotel is situated on the top of the hill, the view is magnificent and at the same time it is 5 mins from the city center. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The staff deserves 10+ for their service and hospitality. The cheff was so nice and prepared special food for me due to my food diet. We had very nice dinners in the hotel, probably way better than we had outside. Ritsa, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and provided with the best recommendations of the sights to visit or restaurants to celebrate our special occasion. The drinks at the bar were great and the bar tender treated us like friends. Definitely will come back to this hotel again.

There was a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains facing the hotel which is perched on the top of a hill. Breakfast is served by the pool and the food was varied and served with a smile. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for their guests. Meals served in the hotel restaurant in the evening were delicious. There are lovely gardens around the buildings and everywhere was immaculately clean. All in all we had a very relaxing holiday in Elounda and were glad we chose to stay in Elounda Heights hotel.

Lovely appartment with an exceptional view. The staff were very corteous, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was first class and meals in the pool bar or in the restaurant were excellent. The lounge bar was expertly looked after and it was a great place for an evening drink and chat with the guests. Another fabulous visit to this complex. Thank you.

The hill to the property is pretty steep, however this did provide the fantastic views.

Exceptionally good hotel on a hill, in a quiet location in the heart of Elounda. The food, especially daily selection of pastries! The view, the comfort, lovely and accommodating staff - we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend it!

The breakfast was very versatile and delicious,always freshly prepared upon request. The only thing is that we wished is that the breakfast menu could have contained more options with vegetables and fruits.

Having read such wonderful previous reviews, I had high expectations of Elounda Heights but I can honestly say, this place exceeded everything I expected. We are not usually ones to want to sit around a pool on holiday. However, I would have happily stayed out and never ventured further for the entirety of our stay. All staff work seamlessly together to make your stay super special. They are very professional and seem attuned to know which guests want more interaction than others. If you want privacy, you get it. Their family connection is unique. The food is outstanding; the best breakfast experience ever. I’d have happily settle for the appetisers and fresh bread and home-made jams provided but we were tempted by the extensive menu choices too. Bar snacks are prepared with a much care as anything you can buy in a top class restaurant. The halloumi salad is divine! We only stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and dined there of an evening for 2: one for the piano evening and the other for wine tasting menu. We highly recommend both!!! Vangelis, the chef, is passionate about the food he serves and this is clearly evident in the quality we tasted. Find Tim to visit the bar too. We only did this in the last night and won’t make this mistake next time as the drinks were delicious. All the food and drink is very competitively priced too. We did venture out and managed the steep 300m walk back. You can only pause along the way and take in the superb views. Spinalonga is worth a visit and we went on first boat from Plaka allowing us time to chill around the pool in the afternoon. We headed along the coast walk to the old salt lakes and next time will try to allow time to complete the 3hr hike around the hills as there are lots of little coves where you could go for a dip off the low rocks. All-in-all, do not hesitate to book this hotel as you will feel truly spoiled by doing so. We cannot wait to return next year!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

We LOVED the adults only vibe. It was so quiet, clean and relaxing. Only a short walk into town, good cardio up the hill. Plenty of parking (come around the back way to avoid driving up the hill!). There’s a free guest laundry and the staff are amazing and so friendly. Delicious breakfast too! NO bed bugs! Lovely pool area.

If you’re in the lower level apartments sometimes there is noise from above. We are light sleepers and this didn’t bother us at all.

The extent the staff went to to make our stay so enjoyable was excellent. Ritsa the office manager contacted me before we left England to ask if we needed dinner when we arrived as it was late. It was gorgeous. She also arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. In all the years I've been on holidays I have never felt so emotional leaving as it was a fantastic break for myself and my husband.
