Perfect location right on the beach, a great pool area surrounded by lots of sun beds with umbrellas and a wonderful bar/ restaurant and terrace area with gorgeous views. We wanted to be close to town but away from hustle and noise. We found it here. The wooden beach path has loads of restaurants, cafes, bars, live music, Dj style chilled music, Greek dancers… so much choice, all set right on the beach and just a 12 minute or so walk to the town centre where the shops, bars, restaurants and clubs are plentiful and open till late. We hiked up the hill close to the hotel and we’re rewarded with spectacular views over surrounding bays and Anthony Quinn beach. It’s about 25 minutes by taxi to Rhodes Town. The old town centre was wonderful. Within the old walled town you will find history, beautiful architecture and so many shops, restaurants, bars… you could spend a whole day just in this area. We stayed in a very basic ensuite room, which was large and very clean with aircon, a decent size fridge and balcony. We were lucky to have sea views. The highlight of our stay here was the amazing team who worked tirelessly looking after everyone. Food and drinks were always perfect and the terrace to chill and enjoy them was bliss. We loved it here so much and can’t wait to return.

My bed was to firm for me but my friend said it was great… individual preferable I guess.

Very nice hotel, with welcoming stuff, in a quiet area, about 15 mins walk from Faliraki center (you need 2 buses from the airport or a taxi to get there). The pool is clean and enough for the people staying at the hotel, the beach (quite rocky) is literally right there, 1 min walk, but you do have to pay for the umbrellas and sunbeds. The food at the restaurant/bar area near the reception is very good, we ended up eating there half the time. Breakfast is plenty and good, but always the same. The staff was super accommodating, always fixing things, calling for taxis for us and being super fun to be around. The mattress in the room was firm, which I like, I slept really good, but it depends on your taste. Good facilities, air con, wifi, minifridge (which only works if you re in the room because you need the key card for electricity), even a small safe. The room had a nice balcony from which I could see the sea and relax a bit. Cleaning done every day but it s not deep cleaning. the mirror, the sink and the table in the room stayed dirty until we almost left. All in all we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely come back and recommend it to other people. We reallly enjoyed ourselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

Not that I didn't like, like i said, we really enjoyed our stay, but some things could be improved: - mosquito nets for the balconies to let the nice breeze come in. Having it closed all time with the air con running kinda gives the room a weird closed up smell - more variety for breakfast

I booked a junior suite, which turned out to be a really excellent choice. The bedroom was upstairs and downstairs there was a spacious comfortable sofa area which led to a large terrace. The terrace was just so nice to have, and there was also its own 3 m x 2 m Plunge pool. The property had a good swimming pool with Bar, overlooking the beach and sea. The staff were delightful, breakfast was perfectly good, cocktails at the bar were very generous and relatively inexpensive. Next door to the property, there was a very nice Taverna , where we ended up eating every night, because the staff were so pleasant. The location was extremely quiet, being a good 10 minute walk outside Faliraki. There was a bus service to various places, including Lindos and Rhodes town. (and ferries to Symi) The bus was very cheap, but proved to be a little unreliable, and as it was a half hourly service, it was a bit tricky to use for shorter journeys , so we tended to get taxis. These were very prompt and you could use credit card to pay. There were two supermarkets just around the corner, and Faliraki, which is quite extensive, had lots of shops and restaurants and evening venues.

The sea just off the sandy beach had large boulders and it was tricky to get to the open sea. You could, however, walk further down the beach to get to an unencumbered area

Room - exactly as at the pictures. It was big, small kitchen in the room including kettle, stove and fridge. Cleaning every second day, but rubbish was picked up daily. This is really first line to the sea, which is great! We don’t like the beach there, but we swam a lot and it is just great to have your hotel within 20 m. Pool zone is quite big, sometimes it was busy, but there are a lot of beds and everyone has its space . Nice bar with sea view. AC - super cool in this place - works very well and it’s located in a good space - no wind into your head while sleeping. Location - for me was great, 3 min by car to Faliraki center and just 10 min drive from my favorite Anthony Quinn bay! It is very clean! Even balcony was cleaned every time. Parking on the territory.

the only one negative impression - the staff. lady on the reception didn’t bother to make even a little welcoming face. Every time when I had to ask smth I felt uncomfortable, although all my requests were completed without hesitation. But I really felt as I’m asking a big favor and bothering people for nothing. This was a bit too much and left some negative shade on the holidays. But this is my subjective impression. Other than this I would recommend this hotel.

The accommodation is located away from the main streets and noise, making it a perfect place if you're looking to relax. It is right on the beach, so the sea is easily accessible on foot. You can also walk along the beach to reach the city beach of Faliraki. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The shower and bathroom are clean and fully functional. The safe also made our stay more convenient.

Unfortunately, the terrace was not usable due to the lack of shade.

I was only here less than 12 hours as I need the room to rest before a 1am flight but I am so grateful because the lovely lady at the front gave me the closest room on the 1st floor so I didn't have to carry my heavy suitcase up any stairs, and made it as easy as possible for me! Thank you :) Everything was very comfortable, from the room to the bathroom, the large safe, and the easy access to the beach, as well as some delicious cafess on the beach, where I had a late lunch/early dinner. Loved the terrace space I had as well (Room 101) and the hammock chair that was there.. very relaxing space!

The pool closing at 7pm was disappointing. At least close it at sundown (8:20pm) ? It was still light out and I wanted to squeeze in a swim before my flight. TIP: Cig smoke smell came into my room from the bathroom window (from someone smoking in another room) so REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE SMALL WINDOW when you leave for the beach etc because when I came back it smelled like cigarette. It took me a minute to figure out where it came from but when I saw the bathroom window open by the shower I understood that it must have come from there. Not a big problem since I wasn't staying long term but I wanted to mention it to help you prevent the situation if you wanted.

superb location near the beach (breakfast terrace seats on the beach, short walk to nudist beach)  - great value - decent breakfast (although not diverse)  - nice, fresh decorated room  - convenient big bed - the room is made every day

rude unpatient room cleaner. The lady insists to enter the room with guests inside. There is no "Don't disturb" card.  - lack of moscitos net in the room window. We suffered from moscitos at night (all rooms of this type are at ground floor).  - bit far from Faliraki center (20 min walk)

Staff were really helpful. The room we were assigned had a lovely sea view so we were upgraded for no extra cost. The pool was clean, the hotel is right on the beach, the food was reasonably priced, they even do a full English breakfast! The A/C was great and WiFi in the room really good. Location is quiet yet bus stop M6 very close for getting into Faliraki/Rhodes Old Town. This is a gem of a small and comfortable hotel! OK it could be modernised a bit!

Nothing, we loved everything!

Location was great!! Breakfast was ok. The hotel snackbar was great. Good food and drinks. Especially the food was very affordable. Some of the staff was really super helpful and nice, others did not seem to enjoy their work very much. Cleaning in the hotelrooms was good but in the apartment they visited only two times in 9 days. Also no cleaning equippment so you could clean up yourself. No hairdryer but it didn't matter to us. The hotelrooms and the apartment were really nice. The apartment was big and comfy. Ok value for the money and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic beachfront accommodation in Kathara Bay. Our room was large comfortable, super clean, and we had the added option of self-catering. Lovely balcony to sit outside and to dry our beach gear/washing. The 24 hour reception staff were so helpful. Elpida has a pool, offers breakfast (full/continental) as well as an all day bar that serves coffee, juices, snacks & wine. Very easy walking distance to Faliraki Bay & Mandomata beach. Highly recommended.

Our fridge froze everything so we could only use it for drinks :(
