The Oleanders Garden exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning of my stay. I was greeted by smilling and friendly staff, ready to help with any issue. The room was spacious, bright and very cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfest were simply gorgeous, with large selection of dishes for every taste. I would especially like to note the cleanliness and order in the hotel, as well as the staff's attention to detail. The hotel is located in a gorge surrounded by mountains, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Within walking distance are beaches with crystal clear water, hiking trails, the Mylonas waterfall, traditional Greek taverns, minimarkets, pharmacies. In general, I was absolutely delighted with the Oleanders Garden an will be happy to come back here again. Many thanks to all the staff for an unforgettable vacation!

Fantastic place 👌 beautifully situated in a quiet place- close to the sea and the village. Beautiful views from the apartment. An ideal place for people who value peace and quiet. There is an interior design is rather ascetic - but that’s not a problem. The apartment has almost everything you need. Guests have access to a large swimming pool with a clean water and sun loungers. Parking is also available. Possibility to order breakfast and coffee (coffee at any time). A very good base for exploring the surrounding villages and mountains. Host Miro - fantastic man, nice, friendly and helpful 💙 and very nice ladies working at the hotel 🙂 the wonderful dog Rex “boss” and wonderful cats 🐈😃 We liked everything- we would like to come back someday 🩵

Oleander's Garden is a very special place. It is located up in the hills above the sea and set in wild nature; the architecture of the complex is quite fascinating, and it is very very quiet. We loved the energy of the place, and our host's kindness and generosity, our breakfast, the views from the breakfast room, the cute pool. Highly recommended.

There are great views, several outdoor seating areas, peace and quiet, a washing machine available at 4,50 euros (2024), breakfast available, parking on site, mosquito nets for windows and doors, and a swimming pool. Very friendly owner and staff and also Rex the dog. Airconditioning (new and silent) which, during our week stay, we only needed for one hour. Close to several beaches and small villages. You do need a car for transport.

Nothing really. At night it is very dark (which is nice for looking at the stars) There were a couple of lights working on sensors but not everywhere so be careful while walking around outside (take a torch). Also, the apartments and amenities are scattered on the hill and connected by stairs (not a problem for us)

The staff was amazing and super helpful from the moment we booked the stay. The manager told us about the nearest beaches, shops and restaurants. The maids were super friendly and always at our disposal if we needed something. The facilities were amazing. This is one of our most favourite holidays. I can not recommend it enough. It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and we made tons of international friends. We were allowed to swim in the pool at night time, under the stars 🌟. Magical experience. I am going back with a group of people next time.

We had the most incredible stay in this oasis! If you want to feel the real spirit of Greece-this is it! A small Santorini feel like home, with tiny white-blue stairs and decorations! The garden was so nice, you can see figs, grapes, granattes, kerob, olives growing! Pool area so cosy! We traveled in Crete for 14days, and changes 8 accomodations, and this is nr. 1 for us! The staff was so friendly!they even congrated our daughter with her 10 years anniversary! Breakfast very good-with fresh orange juice, coffee,cereal,yogurt,eggs,meat,cheese,vegetables and fruits! Our kids and us realy enjoyed the stay so much! And the most freindly dog Rex was a nice surprise! Thank you everybody for this incredible stay! This amazing experience will stay in our memories forever!ii

We loved the location the complex, which is inside the gorge, fully surrounded with trees. It is very quite and peaceful. The of owner is friendly. The breakfast (10 Euro per person) is good and includes vegetables, fruits, omelette, bread, orange juice, coffee, veraity of cheese, turkey, milk, tea.

The complex is unique in many ways, and may not appeal to everyone. It is not built as a conventional hotel. There are many types of rooms, at differnt levels above the gorge bottom, so you need to make sure you fully understand what you are booking. It is better to see the specific room with your own eyes.... The owner was very nice to upgrade our room to a larger one, with a kitchen, and therfore we decided to stay an additional night (2 nights in total). I am not sure we would stayed the additional night if we would be given the room that we iriginaly booked and paid for. Most of the facilities in our room were fine, but a few should be upgraded, like the toilets water tank.

The cottage definitely exceeded my expectations! I had a last minute booking, and it was 100% value for money. The location is breathtaking, literally inside the gorge of Mylonas. Don't miss the opportunity to go hiking. There is a shortcut to the gorge that starts a few steps from the cottage. There are endless trees around as far as the eye can see. The beaches nearby were also lovely, with crystal clear water. I particularly visited (Kaki Skála, Giorgaki & Agia Fotia) Perfect match for people who look for a quite place, in the nature. Not a good match for people for look for luxurious suites. The room has the basic amenities, but you can be informed about everything before booking it. Greek-island--style (white and blue, minimalistic) set of apartments with lovely pets that wander around the place and make the it feel even more cozy and friendly. The staff (and the owner that I personally met) were available to help all the time and did their best to make my stay remarkable. All in all, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and enjoyed my stay, even though the hotel is pretty isolated (a car would solve that problem)! I didn't try the breakfast this time, but definitely planning to come back! 🌼

A bit isolated from safe pavements & shops (crowded places in general) Bear this in mind if you are travelling solo, like I did and have to go back at night!

The location is indeed fabulous. The building complex is uncommon and special. I met interesting people, some of them backpackers, some others - people who just lived there for months. Miros was very friendly, and we had a long talk about the history of the place. This is a good place to meet people. It feels almost like you could be in a movie :)

The room was quite damp since I visited in March and I had to sleep with the window open. Luckily, it wasn’t too cold. The access road is super narrow. I drove a small rented car, and I have no idea what would have happened if another car came from the opposite direction. This was in March (low season). I don’t think I would dare to drive on that access road in summer. And yes, don’t follow Google maps but ask Miros for directions.

I absolutely loved the location in a quiet, beautiful river valley with a gorgeous waterfall close by, in short hiking distance. Waking up to the birds and the sounds of the river for 1 month was an incredibly peaceful and relaxing experience. John and Miro are wonderful hosts. We were provided local fresh foods, olive oil, eggs from chicken which run around freely at the property. There were herbs growing at the property and so many more beautiful things. I did quite a bit of online work while staying at Oleanders and the wifi is great, including for video calls. Great place for digital nomads, and for visitors who appreciate nature.
