Truly great pleace! I wanted to stay at this hotel so bad, I didnt mind booking one room for 5 days and the other one for 4. That other room is Suit with jakuzzi on 4th floor and WORTH EVERY PENNY! That view is everything. My advice, book half board, meals are great, so many dishes on the menu. Next great thing about this place, staff. Both, restaurant and the reception, cleaning staff also. Such a lovely charming people, really made us feel welcomed. I never remember names, but girl at the reception, so wonderful, as if love and joy would be a person, with such a sincere smile that can make your day.

Perfect location right on the beach, close to shops, bars and restaurants and easy to walk to the harbour where we caught our Chrissi Island tour. We made our booking the night before, as were already travelling in the area, and found it to be by far the best value for money—which was definitely confirmed during our stay. Upon arriving very early in the morning, many hours before check-in opened, we were greeted by a smiling and welcoming Maria, who let us leave our bags at reception until we got back. We didn't get to stay very long in the room but found it very well-appointed with a confortable bed. It was also quieter than expected given the location on a busy road. In the morning we were happily surprised by an abundant and delicious breakfast buffet in the downstairs restaurant (again, value for money!), which is just by the beach boardwalk on the other side of the building.

The only minor detail I would fault—which didn't take away from our overall pleasant experience by any means—was the tiny shower partition, getting water all over the bathroom floor upon first turning the handle. I was able to mostly work it out by reducing the water pressure and repositioning the adjustable shower head as far as it went though. It was a small inconvenience, but I just don't see why the hotel wouldn't install a proper glass door instead, there's surely enough room.

Spacious room (a junior suite with a sea view) with a large bathroom and a nice balcony with a view over the Libyan sea and the waterfront promenade. Closing the door proved the sound insulation competent and there was no problems getting sleep even the bars and cafes on street level were open late. The hotel is clean and well maintained, air conditioning works well and the staff is very polite and nice. Had wished a gluten-free option on breakfast and they surely were prepared with multiple choices for bread and cereals. They also had a full selection of jams and other toppings in new and unopened cans just in case that I would need 100% contamination free ingredients. This really is something unusual and one has to appreciate their dedication.

In forehand we had read that it is hard to find parking space nearby the hotel. But they have a spot reserved for loading and unloading your vehicle, and we were lucky too, a free slot for us was found just a around the corner. Driving in Ierapetra is a puzzle though – a lot of one way streets and very narrow alleys.

Our junior suite was very spacious. The maid cleaned every day. Everything that was advertised was in the room. It was quiet even though we were literally right near the sea and plenty of bars and restaurants. All the staff were there to help as soon as there were any problems. We had a problem with the fridge not working, we reported it and they fixed it very quickly We had a wonderful time at El Greco and would recommend this hotel.

I can't think of anything we did not like about the hotel.

We had halfboard. Excellent food, especially dinner. Big portions, apertizer, salad and main dish included. We had 3 dinners. All days were excellent. Dinner is a la carte. A lot of different selection of food. I recomended halfboard. I recomended Paralia Mirtos (Mirtos beach) near. Free parking near the beach. It is not crowded because it is big. Also beach just in front of hotel is good.

The hotel was in a great location opening on to the sea front, but at the quieter end of the town. We had an excellent dinner- grilled fish with the house white which was first rate (we appreciated being able to taste it first). Breakfast was a lovely buffet which had something for every taste. We had a very spacious junior suite with a balcony which was very comfortable.

I would have appreciated a shower curtain. The corner bath had a shower fitting which worked well but it was east to get the floor wet.

The property is a well designed conference hotel. Everything is practical, but without personal charm. Great view from the balcony as the hotel is just at the walking street next to the beach. Very welcoming staff and good variety for breakfast with possibility to eat outside.

There are 2 types of rooms - the ones facing the street being smaller and noisy, while the sea view worth paying the extra money. We had a small reservation accident, but the staff managed to solved it and even offered us a complementary dinner as an excuse. Very professional! Efharisto

This was a lovely hotel on the waterfront in Ierapetra, it was in a great location within walking distance to everything including the beach which was a few steps away. We stayed in the junior suite which had a beautiful view of the sea. The room itself was nice and had a sofa and king size bed. The bathroom was really nice with a walk in shower. The balcony overlooking the sea was lovely. Breakfast was really nice with a great mix of vegetarian and other dishes. The pastries were excellent!

It would be great if there was parking (but not possible considering the city layout) but we managed to find a free street parking space within 5 minutes walk.

The room was great, very comfortable. Loved the balcony looking straight out on the sea. Breakfast was excellent and the staff kept the tables very clean. Reception staff very helpful particularly with parking.

Not very impressed with the evening menu, nothing wrong with it just not what we wanted. Plenty of other places close by so not a problem.

Helpful, friendly staff, in a smart, modern hotel. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, and being able to sit out on the terrace facing the beach was most relaxing. Can thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.

Parking might be a problem in high season, but otherwise it was all good!
