Our stay in Margarita Hotel was excellent! The room was very clean, they cleaned and tidied it up every day, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was super friendly and accommodating (they arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and drop us back off), the breakfast was delicious with lots of options including greek delicacies. The best thing for me personally was the swimming pool where you could relax for as long as you liked and you could order something from the mini bar to drink or eat. The swimming pool was always clean, same as the sun loungers with fresh cleaned towels. Lovely music from the mini bar too. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was literally 2' from the Caldera with all the shops and the restaurants, cafes and the amazing sunset. Highly recommended and I hope we will go back one day.

Excellent value for money, wonderful helpful staff, nice breakfast, great sunrise views from the East-facing front balconies, perfect location for short walk to lots of lovely restaurants and the perfect views in Firostefani, 10 minute walk to Fira town centre, wonderful pool area with bar service (food & drinks), fresh towels always ready on extremely comfy pool loungers and there is a shower area, very clean modern freshly painted rooms, rooms cleaned very well & new towels provided daily, very comfy mattresses and bedding, good shower power & small bottles of shampoo, conditioner & shower gel replenished on a daily basis, aircon, TV, fridge & hairdryer in room

Some traffic noise at front of hotel - if you are a light sleeper like me just ask for a room at the back of the hotel facing the pool area like I did, slightly outdated small bathrooms, plug sockets not next to all bedsides so just bring longer phone charger leads to charge your phones right next to your bed, no toilet by the pool

LOVED EVERYTHING ! Staff where very welcoming and as it was off season i got room upgrade thanks The breakfast was basic but exactly how I like it simple and tasty. The pool was empty due to the earthquakes but the pool area was stunning well kept and i have to say the most comfortable sun loungers I have ever lay on ! Location is quiet & slightly out of town probably a 5 minute walk downhill to Fira, I also took a longer walk one night along the famous Fira to Oia path absolutely stunning views and my preferred way of walking into town. I would highly recommend this hotel + It faces sunrise every morning you can wake up to an amazing sky + it get the sun all day for the sun worshipers ! The walk back up hill from Fira but I am not that fit lol This did not impact on my stay at the hotel as I think it has its benefits for being in the location it has

We had the Glorissa suite with hot tub and sea view, this seemed to be the best room at the hotel. The suite had ample room and was very comfortable. Other rooms looked quite small, but adequate if using as a base to explore. The pool was clean and the area around was very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were amazing and friendly, they work really hard to keep things clean, tidy and functional. Staff recommended a boat trip which was lovely.

Breakfast was basic and quite limited. Room didn’t have a kettle however coffee was available at breakfast but not throughout the day. Orange juice was not fresh just sweet and like syrup. Best to buy your own from mini market. Staff didn’t really recommend places for dinner but did give us a great place for a quick lunch.

We loved this hotel- affordable and suited all our needs. Very clean. Perfect location for us too. Good breakfast.

The lady who was supervising the pool during the whole duration of our stay we found very rude. She made us feel quite uncomfortable at times around the pool- she seemed to tell us off each day for things like bringing our own water (it was 35 degrees heat) to drink even when she wasn’t starting her shift therefore no one at the bar (until 11am), told us off for trying to slightly move a sunbed into the shade, for lying on a sun bed with no towel (she had not placed any towels out- we were wanting a towel as it was very hot to even touch the sunbed anyway). We thought it may be helpful to write out the pool rules for guests to be aware. We saw most guests getting told off for bringing some water. Other than that all the other staff were very friendly and helpful.

Since the hotel wasn't crowded at all, the team at the reception updated us. A very nice surprise at our arrival, we want from a normal room to a suite. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of different options. The swimming pool area is very cozy and very well exposed to the sun.

Not the closest hotel from the city center of Fira, but I discovered later the hotel is very close to the best view for the sunset with less people.

I love Hotel Margarita! I stayed here six years ago on my first trip to Greece and returned this second time with my family. They’ve remodeled the hotel beautifully since then. We stayed in the Gloriousa Suite (only one) with our 18 year old daughter. It had enough room for 3, with a king bed and single size, couch pull out bed. Location is perfect in Firostefani-ten minute walk into Fira but not in the crazy center of it all. Also a great small pool area that serves lovely food and drinks. The staff are all wonderful-especially helpful is Efrem at the front desk. I will always stay and always highly recommend the Margarita Hotel when I am in Santorini! Tha

Shower was little strange bc no screen or door so water splashed all over. I would put up some barrier even a clear plastic partition of some sort. Also a little treacherous stepping into and out of the high whirlpool tub when showering.

Fantastic location, great value for money. Really lovely staff who are very friendly and helpful! The rooms are perfectly nice, showers a little bit small but do the job! Overall my husband and I were very happy.

Excellent location and only a few minutes walk to see amazing sunsets and walk along the caldera, with beautiful views and lovely restaurants. The breakfast was tasty with various hot and cold options. Elisa was really welcoming and helpful. She recommended and booked a catamaran trip for us which was wonderful! The pool area was quiet and relaxing.

We had the two bedroomed option which was clean and comfortable, however one of the rooms had no natural light unless the adjoining door was opened and the shower room was very small.

This is a very sweet hotel, the staff are lovely and so friendly. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a great location, so close to everything you need. While I am going to go into the negatives this was counteracted by the hotel, people and of course Milos. I did have a small garden terrace which was nice to sit out in and use to dry swim wear. I would recommend Semiramis but if I came again I don’t think I’d stay in the single person room - I of course do not know what the other rooms were like though. The room I was in was a single person room and it was definitely only big enough for one person - I do think it’s time it had a bit of an upgrade as it was looking a bit run down in places, mosquito’s squatted against the wall didn’t look terribly appealing, needed some paint in places just to freshen it up a bit. I managed to master not flooding the bathroom when using the shower (no curtains or sides) but you can see the door is damaged from the water and was difficult to close. On arrival I went to use the loo to see the toilet seat was completely off - this was fixed for me very quickly but you’d have though the cleaners would definitely have noticed that…
