The pool, the breakfast, the family. Location is good, off the main road but 200 metres from the beach. Not the owners fault but there is a dog barking most of the time in a field next door and very early in the morning which is set off by the bloody cockerel giving everyone an early morning wake up call.

Can't fault anything except to say I booked a triple for the extra space but it seemed the room size was the same as a twin/double.(I stayed previously in a twin) But we had the sea view and the huge terrace shared with 2 other rooms. We were 202. Other rooms were 201 and 203.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I'm an explorer in Greece and don't spend much time in the room. I was looking for a cheaper accomodation with clean beds and clean bathroom. Wifi, aircondition and breakfast were a great plus. Rooms are cleaned every day and the breakfast is simple, but we had everything we need to start a day. Pool bar is also great. You can relax by the pool on the sunbeds. The family is really nice, helpful and welcoming. Their hospitality and help in many things really contributed to our experiences and great week in Kefalos. I was there with my 12-year old son and we both loved it! I would go back here any time!

Athinoula Hotel is a fabulous place to stay in Kefalos. The family who own it are wonderful hosts and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The location of the Hotel is ideal for the beach and Tavernas. Families are always made very welcome and this is the fourth time we have stayed at this property. When I return to Kefalos I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

There is nothing I dislike about the property. It is a super place to stay while on holiday.

we have stayed here at the athinoula approx for 20 yrs we love the family they are our greek family always pleased to see them and likewise the breakfast buffet is the best in kefalos the hotel is in a fab location 5 min walk to beach rooms are clean every day with fresh towels you must visit you wont be disappointed a big thank you again for yet another excellent stay take care to all the family and see you soon

Hotel Athinoula is a very nice hotel great location the beach is only a few hundred meters away with lots of sunbeds. There are also some supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. There's a breakfast buffet every morning, a pool with bar and the rooms are cleaned every day. Very friendly and helpful staff as well would definitely recommend staying there good value for your money

Everything, great hotel lovely and clean, lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of choice ( great pastries ). This family run hotel is a gem, reasonable prices for drinks and if you aren’t bed and breakfast and you stayed in the studios like us the breakfast is only €5 absolute bargain. Cleaners came in every other day and it was immaculate, Evri and the family were complete darlings and very welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back 👍

Excellently located for all local beaches and tavernas

The Location was perfect, less than 5 minutes to the beach. supermarkets nearby, and bus stations. the main road was close, so there were lots of Tavernas as well. the room was clean (was cleaned every second day or so), and the beds comfy. basic but good! the owners are so nice and friendly, and there are few super cute cats around. lovely!

the only thing I would criticize is that in my pool-level room , the only big window on ground level didnt have a mosquito net. this way, a spider, some mosquitoes and a praying mantis made their way into my room. in order to have some fresh air while cooking, it would be nice to have such a net. also, the window didn’t lock, which made me feel a little bit nervous at times.

No shower near the pool. Would be easier to rinse after swimming etc. Shower curtain
