This is by far the most amazing hotel location I have experienced. The property is really private with amazing pools as well as a private beach that is really easily accessible. The hotel was spotless clean and that staff were wonderful to us. The buffet is not 'just a buffet', it is exceptional and delicious with different food/cuisine themes every night.

The only improvement I would make would be the size of the shower - sounds silly but a little bit more space for someone of my height would be appreciated. But it is not really a major issue!

The hotel staff understands hospitality of the highest standards. The location is breathtaking, great view, perfect beach and super clear water. We had dinner at Segreto and we were overwhelmed with their service and quality. What a perfect experience. We will visit again.

The breakfast is great, but the coffee machine in the buffet area is seriously outdated and does not match with all other qualities of this hotel. Please invest in a fresh bean machine. But at the beach bar they serve perfect coffee!

The hotel is in a great location. The staff are very friendly. There is an app available so you can easily order drinks at the beach. Free paddle boards and kayaks at the beach. Lots of choice at breakfast and excellent fruit. The Metzo restaurant. Good quality and not over-priced.

We were not allowed to bring in guests. The room was nothing like the one shown on the website. Instead of being very open plan, we were in a small townhouse, where there was hardly enough room to walk round the side of the bed to get in. Then there was a living room upstairs with a terrace. We didn't use the living room, it would have been nice to have that space in the bedroom as the photos displayed. There were only 2 coffee machines at breakfast so very long queues. The posh restaurant 'Secreto' seemed incredibly overpriced - 50 euros for a steak in Greece!

This was an incredible experience! The hotel staff was amazing! They were so kind, friendly, helpful and always with a smile! The view was incredible! The white villas with their blue windows were insane! The food was also delicious. This surpassed completely our expectations! The crystal clear blue water of the ionian was ofcourse the star of the show! Location wise was also perfect! We went all around the island, did watersports and had the time of our lives. Everything was super organized, clean and apps were so easy to use. Thank you hotel Gallini!

They should do better photos online for the hotel because the view was spectacular and they need photos that do justice to the beauty of the hotel and their white amazing villas! :) loved the hotel!

view to the sea is the best i ever seen. beach is white. water is all colours of blue. very nice....... i keep high mark due to this. but service...rooms etc... quite standard, normal, nothing special. i never see any high level manager who control how things goes on. so is a business, not a person dedicated hotel... but is just my feeling.

hotel has maaaaany maaaany stairs and they shall tell it in description, othervise old people can have big problems. it is too quiet. no any activity like waterpolo or yoga or watergim or... else... spa - you need to order advance and pay. even not to much, but.... strange why not to have sauna and a pool with massage units working all day.... so we do not use it as not convenient. lobbi bar has nice view but always empty.... no barman, no coctails no nice music... coctails and snacks in a pool bar are .... nothing special.... just high price. food in resaurants are overpriced and again ... pretending for something nice.... but the are just OK...

Almost everything was great Comfortable clean room with all the amenities Service beyond excellent, you just have to ask once, and it's done. Beautiful resort, amazing how quiet it was even though it was completely full. Comfortable beach with lots of sunbeds free water sports. We were planning to find a nice little quaint boutique hotel for the rest of our stay, but it was too good to give up, we just extended our stay. Not to mention the outstanding view

We loved it and had a wonderful time. It was really hard to get out for site seeing since it was so comfortable to stay. We enjoyed the numerous steps as a form of exercise, but not everyone does. The only problem is their unreasonable and petty request for 4 EUR for each cup of decent coffee at breakfast wich is otherwise first rate!!! The dark liquid they serve as coffee for free is the only thing that needs to change.

It was a breathtakingly beautiful location with so much natural unspoilt land and sea. The hotel staff were kind and helpful. I'm a coeliac. The staff were so helpful and wanted to fulfil my dietary needs, I didn't once get poisoned - it's surprisingly common how often I've been poisoned in the past, even when I've stayed at luxurious 5 star resorts. My food was varied and I rarely ate the same limited items on the menu. The chef and manager made an effort to give me options. I actually got to enjoy my holiday, so much so I'm returning next year.

The decor of the room was tired. But other than that it was a fabulous place to stay especially with a young family.

All the stafff is doing their best. Stathis, the manager of the reception is not only an excellent host but also a very good guide. He recomanded us the beat restaurants in the area, including Segreto (belonging to the resort), turistic activities and spectacular beaches of Lefkada. Chrysa, manager of the restaurant is very kind and very active. Marilou (Marilena) is preparing the best coctals, as long ad Irini and Vasiliki are kind and profesional. Nick is the polite lifeguard.

Everything is perfect!

Have just returned back from a wonderful week from Porto Galini Hotel. Let me start with the Pros… A fantastic hotel in a stunning location with its own private beach. Yes you do need a car as there are no restaurants or bars within walking distance. We hired a car from the airport and loved the 45min journey to the hotel which gives you a good idea of the area around it. Loads of free car parking spaces at the hotel. The hotel staff were all really helpful and friendly. From the warm welcome at reception, the lovely team of ladies that kept the hotel pristinely clean to the wonderful young lady (Georgina) that served us everyday on the beach with a smile on her face taking the time to chat and make everyone feel every welcome! Great facilities, lovely hi-end Italian restaurant for evening meal (a bit of a treat – amazing service and great food!) , great daytime beach bar/restaurant and a huge buffet breakfast that also does themed dinners in the evenings that looked amazing but not really our scene so, we ate out all but one night. Private beach with plenty of sun loungers even when the hotel was full. Just the same around the pools, lots of shady beds as well as full sun. Crystal clear waters and complimentary canoes and paddle boards. Splash out on a boat trip from the hotel’s private boats - well worth a tour round the islands for ½ a day Nidri town is a go to in the evening – 5-8mins in the car, super easy to find and parking within the town centre. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars on the “sea front” and lots of people watching to be had. The locals are super friendly and all staff in the restaurants couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. The centre of the town is pedestrianised and runs along behind the “sea front”, with loads of fab bars and shops. Touristy but not like other Greek island towns that we have been to – a lot more chilled and much more “local”. No loud bars full of drunk idiots – wasn’t like that at all.

The property has easy access to the beach. The views were picturesque and beautiful - the sunrises are spectacular. The entertainment and food areas were all in the same space. The restaurants were amazing - we didn't have a bad meal. The staff were welcoming from arrival through to departure. The beds were comfortable enough, although it appears that you're only sleeping on a mattress converter and not a full mattress. It is quite a distance from Lefkada Town, which we felt couldn't be reached on foot and we couldn't have dinner outside of the property. Taxis are apparently limited which makes getting around a little challenging especially during busy times.

The gym wasn't opened on time on our first and last day with quite a few guests turning away from the facility, which was disappointing. The games room wasn't quite operational with a few out of order. The TV had no programmes in English, including news channels.
