The building is really nice, the room is spaceous and has a little kitchen with fridge as well. The balcony is big enough also. However to reach to building requires a couple of steep steps, the view worth it. There are also enough parking places right at the building, but if there are none, San Lazzaro also has a big parking place by the main road as well. The room is cleaned every day. Honesty, I would give maximum points to this accommodation, if there wouldn't be the issue I describing as a drawback in the negative side.

Just one note. Be aware, if you book a room with sea view, almost all pictures to this type of room is about a balcony with full view of the bay including the islands, Nydri and the surrounding mountains, BUT not all the sea view rooms has that fantastic view! We disappointed a bit as we got only a partial view compared to that. We were able to see the sea and the islands, but not Nydri and the surrounding mountains, as the pictures showed. It was a nice view, but not what we expexted based on the pictures. San Lazzaro, please update your rooms attaching the exact pectures about the view, because this is an issue, and probably will be misunderstandable for other guests as well.

First of all a huge compliment of the creation of the building San Lazarro!! It's so creative and the colour is so nice. And then the location...wonderful!! The overlook at the Ionian Sea/bay and the  village of Nidri is just amazing!! We love to sit on our balcony just watching the beautiful scene! It's worth to climb up the steep slope and the last two stone stairs makes it more easy! The studio itselves is really nice and offers everything we need. The clean up of the studio, beds, bathroom is more then we would expect! Maybe a suggestion could be to offer for the first days some tea bags and/or coffee facilities with sugar and milk cups. (I do this in my own B&B in the Netherlands😊) In the bathroom everything we need is there. We are glad that the grass of the parking area is mowed, so we could park our car there. To go up was a bit of a problem for our car. We enjoyed our stay very much and the walk to the centre of Nidri is a healthy one! Either along the seaside or just along the road. In about 15 minutes you are in the centre  We will recommend your accommodation highly to anyone who will visit the beautiful island of Lefkada! Attractive and smart apartments with truly gorgeous views. Rooms were clean and a nice size. Although you pay the price for the views with a short steep walk it is only a brief steep section, most of the walk from the town is flat and pretty. I contemplated whether staying in one of the beach-based hotels would be more relaxing but I love the feeling of being slightly away from the hubbub and enjoyed strolling back to my room.

My welcome was a little awkward, despite letting them know my arrival time as requested they didn’t seem to be expecting me or know anything about my stay. I also seemed to have the slightly lesser of the sea views of the same price point - however it is still a stunning view and it was so hard to leave it! A few small issues like the fridge didn’t seem very cold and the hairdryer was weak but I would still stay again because it’s a lovely spot. To make it even better a bar would be nice? Or pool! Also lights on the 1st floor - sometimes hard to find my key at night.

As a solo traveller, I felt safe staying at San Lazzaro. Prior to my stay, I had several questions, which were answered quickly and helpfully by the team there. I was assured my room had a good sea view. On arrival with my friends to drop off my cases as arranged, I was welcomed warmly by Eirini, her mother and a lovely efficient receptionist(apology I didn't get her name). The latter sorted the business bits out. My room was ready which I wasn't expecting. So an added bonus. The room a nice sized Studio with Balcony and the amazing panoramic view over the smaller Islands with Meganisi and the Greek Mainland beyond. A family run hotel. A lovely family and the staff too. True filoxenia friendship to strangers. I'm sorry my stay was short, but will remember it with great affection

Nothing I had a problem with the fridge but that was resolved quickly Note though:- a very steep drive up at the end. Sensibly a notice at bottom highlights 1st gear and gentle acceleration in Greek and English. On foot, a great work out after dining at one of local Tavernas!

The view from the balcony was superb. We loved having breakfast outside each morning in the sunshine. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach and several excellent restaurants. There is also a shortcut to Nidri town centre, reducing the time to only 15 minutes. There is a car park next to the hotel and also extra parking at the bottom of the driveway. The hotel was situated in a perfect location, especially if you have a car. Only a 30-minute drive to Vasiliki, lefkada, and other nearby resorts such as Poros and Afteli.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable

The family owning this place was very friendly and helpful. The location looks great and the view to the see is splendid, the rooms are cleaned every day. It is not among the cheapest locations but it deserves every penny spent.

Well not that this is something annoying or anything but it would have helped a better description of the room's view when booking it. We stayed in one having seaside view which was fine but there we found out there are some rooms with a full seaside view which of course is even better. Had we known this we would have booked the full seaside view rather than the regular seaside view ones.

The location is wonderfull on the foot of a mountain, it's a little climb up to a comfortable hill, having a fantastic view over the sea, mountains, islands. It's a quite place, 10 minutes walk from the sea, 15 minutes to the centre. It's the best place to be especially when I saw other accodomitians in town. The owner Irina, is helpfull, Marina, the receptionist is a Godess, she provided me with assistance en advices where to eat and where to go. The rooms are cleaned every day :) and the cleaning lady is very nice!!!

The views are breath taking , however, it comes with steep walking up to property so not so suitable for disable or not quite fit person, unless you drive the car, which is also a bit challenging to get tot the top. This is an exceptionally clean and friendly apartment, the only one minus, the room was a bit too small for 3 of us, maybe we should have taken a bigger apartment.

I liked everything, but I have highlighted about a couple of things that people need to be aware of.

Accommodation with great views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to town centre and amenities.

Some might not like the steep hill from the main road to accommodation, but we were OK with it. We had a couple of issues with the shower and toilet, but these were resolved very quickly. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The views, spacious, balcony…

For those who are not ready to go by steep incline and lots of steps, it may not be best choice. Same for cars, to get to the parking, you need to press excelerator with full force to get to the parking or alternatively to leave car at the bottom and drag all your luggage up the steep incline and steps.
